Narrate Church

Narrate Church We value gathering and scattering. We gather every Sunday at 9:00am and 10:45am downtown at Grandstreet Theatre.

Then we scatter by finding tangible ways to serve and value people. We gather on Sunday and spend the other six days telling God's story by the way we live and serve.

C4SO + Narrate

I wanted to share that this past Thursday, May 28th, the Narrate Council unanimously decided to step out of our non-denominational space and join the Churches for the Sake of Others diocese.

Thank you for your trust, your patience, and your participation in what has proven to be a long, unexpected, and—hopefully—honest and candid process.

If you have any questions, please schedule a time to chat by emailing [email protected]

Onward!
Adam

Family Sunday +THIS+ Sunday, May 31st 🥳

We are excited to host another Family Sunday this Sunday, May 31st! It is also Pentecost - AKA the church's birthday. Join us at Grandstreet • 9am or 10.45am.

Our Kindergarten through 5th grade space will be closed so kids can join us in the main auditorium for worship. Our Nursery & Preschool experiences will remain open as usual, and we encourage you to take advantage of those spaces for your little ones.

Family Sunday is a meaningful opportunity for all generations to worship together. We will have coloring boards and crayons available for kiddos too. We look forward to being in the main auditorium with you and your kiddos on Sunday!

No Gatherings This Sunday, May 24th

This is your friendly reminder that we will not host gatherings this Sunday, May 24th. A few times each year, we take a Sunday off to give volunteers a well-deserved weekend to enjoy time with family and friends. If you're in town, we encourage you to visit one of the many great churches in our community!

Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and we'll see you back at Grandstreet on Sunday, May 31st • 9am or 10.45am • for Family Sunday (Kindergarten - 5th grade will join us in the main auditorium). Remember to check out the Narrate Church Podcast and catch up on Sunday message or listen to the Beyond Sunday series.

What's Happening For Students This Summer? ☀️

This summer we have something new for Middle and High School students!

What's Happening:
•Join us every other Wednesday, starting June 10th, for fun and fellowship from 5:30-7:00pm. Our homebase will be 326 Fuller, but we'll also be out and about hiking, playing kickball, and more.

Who is invited to participate?
• Anyone entering into 6th-12th grade.

We are starting a Band! (Not the musical kind, the communication kind)
• Join the Narrate Student Band to stay up to date on what is happening with students through the summer and beyond. Students and parents can both sign up. You don't have to download an app to join, but it does make it a little easier.

Reminder: Council Nominations Are OPEN! 📣

Just a friendly reminder that Narrate Council nominations are open now until May 15th!

As we enter into year two of our rotating council, we're thankful for the new voices and broadened ownership this process has already brought, and we are excited for this year's process!

In case you missed Adam's email last week, here are a few quick notes about the process:

• Nominations are completely anonymous
• You’re welcome to nominate more than one person (including yourself)
• Nominees can choose whether or not to apply

We are looking for council members who love God, love Helena, and have at least a two year track record of ownership at Narrate (including participation in Sunday gatherings, scattering events, and financial giving).

We would love for you to pray about who God might have you nominate! If you decide to nominate someone for Narrate Council, please email Adam ([email protected]), indicating who you'd like to nominate.

Thank you!

May at Narrate Kids: Today’s Forecast 🌦️

God is in control of everything...even the weather! Nothing catches Him off guard. While things may feel unpredictable to us, they are never outside of His command. Throughout this series, kids will see how God was actively working in the early church...guiding, providing, correcting, and rescuing His people at just the right time. In every story, we’re reminded that God is always at work, fulfilling His perfect plan.
