This week’s Wonderful Wednesdays will be a taco bar hosted by St Paul’s youth group. Following the dinner the new book study “Separation of Church and Hate,” Children, and Youth will meet.

Starting this week, Pastor Morie will lead the group through the book, “Separation of Church and Hate” by John Fugelsang. Books are available through typical vendors and as an audiobook. Participants are encouraged to obtain a copy in their preferred format.

United Methodist Student Day celebrates the value of education. Contributions received through this Special Sunday support scholarships for United Methodist students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees. This includes programs like the Rev. Dr. Karen Layman Gift of Hope Scholarship, designated for undergraduates with at least three years of membership in The United Methodist Church. Contributions serve as a practical expression of support, providing both financial assistance and spiritual encouragement. Through scholarship funding, we demonstrate the church’s commitment to developing leaders for a worldwide community, fostering community transformation and empowering students.

Join us this Sunday as we celebrate United Methodist Student Day. We will take a special offering that goes toward scholarships and grants for students in our church family. Let’s empower the next generation of leaders.

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday on March 29th. Join us for our 10 am service as we enter this last week of Lent together.

On April 2nd Pastor Morie will conduct a Maundy Thursday service at 7 pm with Taizé and communion.

And on April 3rd Pastor Morie will be at Covenant for a Good Friday service at 5:30 pm.

This Wednesday, March 11th, at 5:30 pm, The Helena Community Gardens is gracing us with their characteristic homemade soups and salads alongside fresh bread from a local bakery and Marcia's famous carrot cake. Come for some great food and support our community gardens! This is also a great opportunity to get information about renting a garden plot this coming growing season.
