MAJOR UPDATE!! Shine the Light has asked us to reschedule because of the weather forecast for tomorrow! But that doesn’t mean we cannot get together still. There are a few things that we need to do in the Student Center at church. Let’s work on that and, if we have some time, we’ll play some games and have lunch. MONDAY, JUNE 22, FLINT RIVER STUDENT CENTER (student door will be open), 9 to 1.

Today we had the opportunity to serve at the Caring Link and hear about the incredible work they are doing in our schools and throughout our community.

One of the needs we learned about was deodorant and hair styling products, so as we continue making a difference this summer, we’re going to collect those items and deliver them to the Caring Link before the school year begins.

But we want to make it fun…

Schools, this is your time to shine! Starting this Sunday, there will be FIVE collection bins on the stage in the Student Center:
• HGHS
• MVMS
• BHS
• BMS
• LC / Sparkman / Homeschool / Other

Whichever school brings the most donations will win a special prize at Mtn Dew Night!

Let’s fill up the care closets and be a youth group that is 💙

SERVE DAY IS HERE 🙌🔥

Faith isn’t meant to stay inside four walls—it moves. On June 15, we’re heading to Caring Link to get things ready for the New Beginnings event in July and make a real impact in our community.

This is your chance to roll up your sleeves, serve others, and put your faith into action alongside your friends.

🍽 Lunch provided

🚗 Drivers: Park at Hazel Green Methodist Church and walk over.

We don’t want summer to be a season where students disconnect—we want it to be a season where they grow!

This month, Flint River Students has several opportunities for you to stay connected with friends, build meaningful relationships, and make a difference in our community. From grade-specific pool parties to hands-on service projects, these events are designed to help students have fun, deepen friendships, and live out their faith beyond Sunday mornings.

We encourage you to be part of as many of these opportunities as possible. Summer is always better when we do it together!
