Parents and Students,

Due to the forecast of snow and freezing precipitation this weekend, and based on all the information available to us at this time, we have made the decision to postpone our annual Disciple Now (DNow) event.

The new dates for DNow will be February 6–8.

This decision was not made lightly. We are very aware of the significant effort and preparation already underway by parents, host homes, volunteers, food teams, the band, the speaker, and leaders. In order to err on the side of caution and to give everyone as much time as possible to adjust plans, we felt it was best to make this decision now.

Additionally, the Madison County School System has indicated that they are planning to make adjustments to their after-school schedule on Friday evening. Taking this into consideration, along with the current weather forecast, the band also needed to make a timely decision regarding travel, and we did not want to risk them becoming stranded if the weather develops as predicted.

Out of respect for everyone involved and to help all participants and volunteers plan accordingly, we believe postponing DNow by two weeks is the wisest course of action.
Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and understanding. Please stay safe and warm this weekend. We look forward to a great DNow weekend together on February 6–8 and appreciate your continued support.

📖Disciple Now 2026 (DNow Weekend)
January 23–25
Get ready for one of the biggest weekends of the year! DNow is a focused discipleship experience for students 6th–12th grade, packed with powerful worship, small-group Bible teaching, unforgettable activities, and time together in host homes. It’s a weekend designed to help students grow deeper in their faith and closer in community.
Early Bird Registration
Early Bird pricing is $50 now through December 14. After that, the cost increases to $60, so make sure to lock in the discount while it’s available!
T-Shirt Deadline
All students who want the DNow 26 t-shirt must be registered by January 11. Registrations submitted after that date will still be accepted, but a t-shirt cannot be guaranteed.
Final Registration Date
Registration will remain open until January 23.

❗️FUGE Camp 2026❗️
Mississippi College | June 15–19
It’s time again for FUGE Camp, and we are excited to be heading to Mississippi College on June 15–19! If you’re planning to join us this summer, now is the time to start preparing.
This year’s FUGE Camp theme is “The GOOD Shepherd.” Every moment at FUGE Camp is intentional. Camp programming is designed to take students out of their normal routines and place them in an environment focused on life-change through a growing relationship with Christ. Through worship, teaching, small groups, and community, students will be challenged to know Jesus more deeply and follow Him more faithfully.
We will depart for camp on Monday, June 15, and return Friday, June 19.
Registration & Deposit Information
A $125 non-refundable deposit is required before registering for camp.
There will be a short Early Bird discount, available for a limited time during registration.
The $125 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Important Note About the Deposit
Every year, one of the biggest challenges we face with summer camp is helping students fully commit. In recent years, FUGE/Lifeway has strongly encouraged churches to require a larger upfront deposit to ensure commitment and allow camps to plan responsibly.
Because of this, we have had to adapt and comply with the expectations set by FUGE/Lifeway. That is why you are seeing the deposit amount increase this year.
This does NOT change the overall cost of camp. The deposit is simply a larger portion paid upfront and is applied toward the total cost. Our hope is that this helps students and families commit early and allows us to plan and prepare well for a great week at camp.

Reminder: Unified Student Worship Night – Tomorrow! Wednesday, Oct. 1st!

Hey Parents & Students,
Just a quick reminder.

Details to know:

Meet at FBHG: If you need a ride, please be at the church by 5:00 PM. A group will be leaving at 5:15. (I will have a adults hang back and leave at 5:25 just incase we have some students running behind)

Food & Fellowship: Pizza + hangout time before worship.

Worship: Begins at 6:15 PM at Flint River.

Pick-up: We’ll return to FBHG before 8:00 PM. Please plan to pick up your students at FB Hazel Green this will make it easier for those transporting students.

Transportation:
Rides are provided for students who can’t drive. (Students who are driving themselves aree welcome to follow us from the church or meet us there)

Unified Student Worship Night – October 1st at Flint River

Hey Parents & Students!
We are excited to join together for Unified Student Worship on Wednesday, October 1st at Flint River.

Details:
• Meet at FBHG: Students needing a ride should arrive no later than 5:15 PM.
• Food & Fellowship: Students will enjoy pizza and hang out before worship begins.
• Worship: Starts at 6:15 PM at Flint River.
• Finish Time: Worship will wrap up around 7:30 PM. Students riding with us will be back at FBHG before 8:00 PM.

Transportation Options:
• Students who can’t drive will have a ride provided.
• Families are also welcome to meet us at Flint River or follow us from FBHG if that’s more comfortable.

We can’t wait to see what God does as we worship together with other students!
