Join us for a special Combined Church Service on Sunday, August 30th at 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenvil, NE.

Some traditions never go out of style. ❤️🍦

Our Ice Cream Social was more than homemade ice cream and delicious desserts—it was a celebration of 120 years of God’s faithfulness and the generations of families who have called this church home.

Looking around the room, it was easy to see that this church has always been about more than a building. It’s where babies have been baptized, couples have been married, children have learned about Jesus, friendships have grown, tears have been shared, and faith has been passed from one generation to the next.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible and to everyone who came to celebrate. We are grateful for those who came before us, those who serve today, and those who will continue this story for generations to come.

Enjoy a few snapshots from a sweet afternoon filled with homemade ice cream, laughter, fellowship, and memories that remind us just how blessed we are. ❤️

Today, in conjunction with our annual Ice Cream Social, we pause to celebrate 120 years of faith at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Our beautiful church building was completed in April 1906 at a cost of $2,100. Our first church council members were William Grothaus, Conrad Grothen, and Gerhard Hoefer. In November 1906, Pastor William Zahils became our first pastor, beginning a legacy of faithful leadership that continues today.

As we gather for worship, enjoy the special music and join us in giving thanks for the faithful servants, devoted pastors, and the many families who have called Immanuel Lutheran Church their church home for generations. Their faith, love, and commitment have shaped this congregation and left a lasting legacy for those who follow.

To God be the glory for 120 years of His grace and faithfulness.

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 What a wonderful day celebrating 250 Years of Freedom and 120 Years of Faith! 🙏

We were honored to be part of the Juniata Days Parade with our church float, proudly decorated in red, white, and blue. At the heart of our float stood the Cross and the American flag—a beautiful reminder of the blessings of faith and freedom that have shaped our nation and our church for generations.

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday and 120 years of God’s faithfulness to our church family, we’re thankful for those who came before us and excited to continue sharing His love with future generations.

Happy Juniata Days! May God continue to bless our community, our church, and the United States of America. 🇺🇸✝️❤️

What a beautiful Easter morning! 🌅✨

Our church was full of families lifting their voices together as we sang “Christ the Lord Is Risen Today, Alleluia!” — a powerful reminder of hope, renewal, and God’s unfailing love.

Sharing Holy Communion together made this Resurrection Sunday even more meaningful as we reflected on the sacrifice, the victory, and the promise we celebrate today.

Wishing each of you a Happy Easter filled with joy, peace, and the light of Christ. He is risen… He is risen indeed! ✝️🌷💜

This morning our congregation lifted our voices to “Shine, Jesus, Shine” — and oh, did it feel like a call to action for every single one of us. ✨

That song isn’t just something we sing… it’s a reminder.
A reminder to let Christ’s light fill us, change us, and then send us out to reflect that light in a world that needs hope, kindness, and courage.

May we carry that glow into our homes, our work, and every person we meet this week.
Lord, let Your light shine through us. 🌟
