Congrats to our newly confirmed youth! It was a wonderful service as they affirmed their baptisms and we welcomed them into members at Haslett Community Church!

The mosaic dove is their Resurrection Project- taking something old or broken and fixing it or repurposing it to give it new life!

Every day is Earth Day!
When it comes to creation care, the United Church of Christ emphasizes three ideas:

1 - Caring for the environment is a moral and spiritual obligation, deeply intertwined with social justice and the well-being of all living things.

2- It encourages congregations to become Creation Justice Churches, focusing on theology, institutional practices, and advocacy.

3 - Reflecting on God's call to protect and sustain creation for the well-being of all living things calls us to action.
