Our high school youth are preparing for their upcoming mission trip to Charlotte, NC. Today at their meeting they served our food bank by making birthday cake kits! 50 kits in fifteen minutes!

Thursday, June 18th at 7 p.m., we are thrilled to welcome The Capital City Brass Band back to Haslett Community Church, UCC! This concert is free and open to the public. Weather permitting it will be outside on the lawn, if not we'll bring the concert inside. So bring a blanket or lawn chair and your favorite snacks and drinks and prepare for a night of great music celebrating the nation through music!

As an Open & Affirming Congregation, Haslett Community Church, United Church of Christ is thrilled to once again participate in and support Meridian Pride! Join us on Saturday, June 6 for an Ecumenical Worship Service at the Central Park Pavilion at 11 a.m., and stop by our table during the Pride Festival at Marketplace on the Green for a free Pride pin from 5-10 p.m.!

As the school year at Haslett Public Schools comes to an end, the Nelson Memorial Haslett Food Pantry wants to take the time to THANK families, staff and students for their contributions to the Haslett Food Pantry located in the Haslett Community Church. Each school organized a food drive for items needed in the pantry.
Wilkshire: Oodles of Noodles
Murphy: Rocked the Box for boxed food and helped Mr. Toucan with two cans of fruit/vegetables.
Ralya: Surpin’ Sam sweet cereal drive
Middle school: General food drive
High school: General food drive and 64 turkeys for holiday giving!
