Every year we request $1,750 in donations to cover our share of funding for the event, and every year ULC goes above and beyond. Last year, ULC donated nearly $2,300, which allowed us to pack 12,000 meals for people across the world! This year, we are making the same request: for the month of May, we are asking everyone to donate what they can to help us reach $1,750 (and beyond). If just fifty people donate $35, we will reach our goal. If everyone who attends church on Sunday gives that amount, we will exceed our goal yet again this year. The Food Packing Event will be held at the Islamic Center this year. The event will be on Sunday, November 1 at 11:45am. In the meantime, consider making a donation for this Outreach of the Month. To donate, you can write a check to University Lutheran Church, or you can contribute electronically at the ULC website (www.ulcel.org) via PayPal or a credit card. Please include “Food Packing” in the memo/notes.
