Our team is getting ready to head out... February 23 thru March 3. We have 29 people going to build 6 homes, refurbish 3, go to 3 feeding programs and go back to each of the 9 homes to do a foot washing and give new shoes! This year we are also taking enough new shoes to give every child at one of the feeding programs a new pair of shoes. This is in one of the poorest communities, we are very excited to share the love of the Lord with these prescious ones. To help raise funds, we will be selling the Community Days coupon books from Younkers. You can contact us here if you would like to purchase it help sell, our goal is 250 books. Looking for parties interested in joining us or supporting our trip in February 2018. Cost to go is going to be around 2000.00. Build a house for 1400.00, water system 75.00, stove 150.00, restorations 500.00. Plenty of options to join the group or support financially, 100% or this money goes to help build homes and feed the hungry.

Well, our 2017 trip was amazing!! We had a wonderfully busy week in Guatemala. We built 2 new homes, and refurbished 4. At the 4 refurbish sites we also built a bathroom. We went to 3 feeding programs with Pray America provides where we were given the opportunity to see God's children hear his Word and feel the love of His people. These children are amazing! They love in a way that some here on earth never see or experience. They look after each other and share smiles that melt your heart. They are hungry, they may be dirty and go without so much of the material things that we so take for granted and yet they smile, they play and they LOVE.
We also went back to the very homes we built and refurbished to wash the feet of our new found friends. Just like Jesus, we served. What an opportunity to show these friends the love of Jesus.
We carried food provded to widows to the ride that may get them closer to their homes, so that then, on their backs, they could carry the 50+ pounds of grains and goods to their homes. In my prayers everyday, I ask God to make me useable for His work. During this trip I thanked Him everyday for picking me, to do His work. Now I know that you don't need to go to Guatemala to do His work, we do plenty here each and every day. The point is you have to be a willing vessel. Pray today for God to make you useable and that you are an excellent ambassador for Him.

Our trip is right around the corner!! We have at least 20 suitcases full of blessings for the widows and children. We will be building 2 new houses, restoring 4 houses, building 4 community restrooms, installing stoves, foot washing and giving away shoes and feeding children!!! Wow, what a week. Blessed to be a blessing. Your financial support would be greatly appreciated, the cost to take the extras is 800.00 and we always have more needs! Please pray for our group of 21 leaving on February 10th. Thanks friends!

Guatemala 2017 is February 10th - 18th. I have a few spots left for anyone interested in going! Let me know ASAP as I have to turn in my extra airline seats by November 5th. Total cost is $1985 and that includes everything but souvenir money. You only need to have $885 by November 5th with the balance not due until January.
