Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Reverend Ferman Joe Pearce
It is with heavy hearts, yet great hope and gratitude, that we share the passing of our beloved founding pastor, Ferman Joe Pearce.
Reverend Pearce has finished his race, kept the faith, and entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior. What a beautiful homecoming it must be, reunited with his beloved wife, Lillie, and welcomed into the arms of Jesus.
In 1959, Reverend Pearce and Lillie stepped out in faith and founded a church in Saginaw, Texas. What began as a step of obedience grew into a ministry that would touch thousands of lives and impact generations of families.
His legacy is one of unwavering faith, faithful service, and a deep love for God and His people. That legacy lives on not only through his own family, who continue to love and serve the Lord around the world, but also through the countless individuals and families whose lives have been forever changed because of his ministry.
Today, The Oasis Church stands as a testimony to the seeds of faith planted by Reverend Pearce and Lillie so many years ago. We are forever grateful for their obedience, their sacrifice, and the foundation they laid for generations to come.
While we grieve his passing, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived and a race faithfully finished. We rejoice in the promise of eternity and the words we know every faithful servant longs to hear: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Please join us in praying for the Pearce family as we honor and celebrate the extraordinary life and enduring legacy of Reverend Ferman Joe Pearce.
“It is well with my soul…”
