SUNDAY RECAP 🇺🇸🕊️

What a powerful Pentecost Sunday & Memorial Day at Floodgate Church! We honored those who gave their lives for our freedom while celebrating the freedom found in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

“Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” — John 15:13

We were reminded that the same Spirit poured out at Pentecost is still moving today. Because of Jesus, we can stand firm in the freedom He purchased for us.

Thank You, Jesus, for freedom. Thank you to every soldier and family who sacrificed for our nation. And thank You Holy Spirit for Your presence and power!

FLOODGATE SCRIPTURE VERSES

Joshua 23:1-11 Now it came to pass, a long time after the Lord had given rest to Israel from all their enemies round about, that Joshua was old, advanced in age. 2 And Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders, for their heads, for their judges, and for their officers, and said to them: “I am old, advanced in age. 3 You have seen all that the Lord your God has done to all these nations
because of you, for the Lord your God is He who has fought for you. 4 See, I have divided to you
by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, as far as the Great Sea westward. 5 And the Lord your God will
expel them from before you and drive them out of your sight. So you shall possess their land, as
the Lord your God promised you. 6 Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is
written in the Book of the Law of Moses, lest you turn aside from it to the right hand or to the
left, 7 and lest you go among these nations, these who remain among you. You shall not make
mention of the name of their gods, nor cause anyone to swear by them; you shall not serve them nor bow down to them, 8 but you shall hold fast to the Lord your God, as you have done to this day. 9 For the Lord has driven out from before you great and strong nations; but as for you, no

SHAKE RATTLE and ROLL
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with
boldness.

Acts 4:31 The place was shaken… and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.

Acts 16:25–26 But at midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the
prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly, there was a great earthquake, so that the
foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and
everyone’s chains were loosed.

Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice: Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!

Romans 12:1–2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not
be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Hebrews 12:27 Now this, yet once more, indicates the removal of those things that are being
shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue.

Ezekiel 37:1-3 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord,
and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass
by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

Ezekiel 37:7 So, I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.

Ezekiel 37:9-10 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to
the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these
slain, that they may live.” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them,
and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you
have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So, we may boldly
say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

Hebrews 13:13-14 Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. 14 For here we have no continuing city, but we seek the one to come.

with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. 31 And the second,

than these.
