VICTORY SCRIPTURE VERSES
Floodgate Sunday 8-23-2026
2 Peter 1:3–4 “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.”

2 Corinthians 10:4–5 “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the
contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

Hebrews 2:18 “Because Jesus himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.”

Hebrews 4:15–16 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our
weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was
without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

Hebrews 4:15 (Jesus) “has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet was without sin.”

James 1:13 “When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be
tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.”

James 1:14–15 “Each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and
enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”

Matthew 6:13 “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.”

Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.”

James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”

Romans 6:13 “Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but
rather offer yourselves to God.”

Romans 12:1 “Present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship.”

Galatians 5:16–18 “So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful
nature. 17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is
contrary to the sinful nature, and they are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.”
1 Corinthians 10:13 “God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

James 4:7 “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

James 4:8 “Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.”

Psalm 25:15 “My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only He will release my feet from the snare.”

Ephesians 6:18 “Be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”

Proverbs 6:27–28 “Can a man scoop fire into his lap without his clothes being burned? 28 Can a man walk on hot coals without his feet being scorched?”

James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”

Luke 22:31–32 “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. 32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail.

BREAD OF HEAVEN HEALING
SCRIPTURE VERSES
Floodgate Church

Mark 7:24–30 From there He arose and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And He entered a
house and wanted no one to know it, but He could not be hidden. 25 For a woman whose young
daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him, and she came and fell at His feet. 26 The woman
was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her
daughter. 27 But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the
children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” 28 And she answered and said to Him, “Yes,
Lord, yet even the little dogs under the table eat from the children’s crumbs.” 29 Then He said to
her, “For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.” 30 And when she
had come to her house, she found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying on the bed.

James 5:13-16 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing
psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray
over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the
sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The
effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Romans 8:22–23 “For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs
together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we
ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

1 Corinthians 11:30 “For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.”

Isaiah 53:5 “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”

1 Peter 2:24 “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to
sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”

Revelation 21:4 “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more
death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed
away.”

Psalm 103:2–3 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all
your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.”

Psalm 41:4 “LORD, be merciful to me; Heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.”

Jeremiah 17:14 “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.

Mark 8:24 And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.”

Proverbs 17:22 “A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.”
1 Timothy 5:23 “No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and
your frequent infirmities.”

Matthew 9:35 “Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues,
preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the
people.”

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to
those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Psalm 103:2–4 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all
your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who
crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies.

What a powerful Sunday at Floodgate! 🙌

Today, Pastor Joshua reminded us that God is still in the business of restoration. Just as Nehemiah was burdened by the broken walls of Jerusalem, we were challenged to examine the broken places in our own hearts and remember that Jesus specializes in rebuilding what sin has torn down. Restoration begins with surrender, requires determination, and is sustained through perseverance. Don’t stop building, don’t stop praying, and don’t stop believing! the God who restores is not finished with your story.

“He who has begun a good work in you will complete it...” Philippians 1:6
