First Methodist Church Harlingen We are a Global Methodist church whose mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.

All are welcome in our historic church of over 113 years. We invite you to join us Sunday - 9am Traditional Worship / 11 am Contemporary Service with Children's Church. We have 10 am Sunday School for all ages.

Construction Updates for June 14th

Due to a generous donation from a Church partner, we are currently refurbishing the historic tile walkways in the Belltower and 1st floor of the Education Building. Unfortunately, this refurbishing will not be finished in time for worship on Sunday morning, so a few changes to our Sunday schedule will need to occur.

1 - The 3rd Street Entrance by Clift Chapel will be closed.
2 - The Pletcher Parlor Adult Sunday School Class will move to the Clift Chapel for this Sunday only. Access to the Chapel will only be through the entrance on Harrison.
3 - All entrances into the Belltower will be closed.
