Today, four of our youth professed their faith in Christ to be their Lord and Savior by remembering their baptism. Today was a beautiful day for the glory of God.
Their decision took place after four months of Confirmation Classes, that included homework, accountability through mentorship, Bible studying, and memory work. Together, growing in grace & knowledge of our savior Jesus Christ, one question at a time.

2 Peter 3:18 NIV
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

*For those unfamiliar, confirmation is a rite of passage where a person (most often a young person) walks through a transformational learning process designed to lead them to an opportunity to give their lives to Jesus Christ, thereby confirming their personal faith in him as Savior and Lord.

School is out 🎉 So the kids came over last night to make SLIME. They had a blast mixing and kneading ingredients into fun gooey creations. It was also a great opportunity to remind them that they are nothing like slime; which always runs downward without direction. As children of God they can stand firm, empowered with wisdom by His Holy Spirit.

Our JPS children are ending the school year with a fabulous performance for all to watch and enjoy their sweet voices and dance moves. The doors open at 6:30pm in the sanctuary.

FMCH had the privilege to bless and recognize four of our graduating youth at yesterday’s morning worship services. It has been an honor to watch them grow, especially in their faith, and we cannot wait to see all God has in store for them.

We also had the opportunity to host the HCISD Baccalaureate Service where our young adults led worship beautifully and Pastor Ben Huebner gave the students words of wisdom to hold on to for the future.

Looking for Jesus Together

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,

As a pastor and a mother, I must confess that I may have left each of my children at the church on more than one occasion. Usually, I remembered in the parking lot. One time, I made it all the way home before realizing I was missing a kiddo.

These were, perhaps, epic motherly fails.

And yet, I have always taken some comfort in the fact that Mary lost Jesus.

We had another beautiful Mother’s Day celebration as we praised God and thanked Him for the many wonderful church moms that model love and joy with prayers and service 💝
