Curiosity Project Second Hour This Sunday, April 26—Person of Peace

This week Pastor Andrew will lead the Curiosity Project Second Hour class. The group will discuss People of Peace in our community. These are people who are hospitable and share our convictions. For example, is there a librarian with whom you share connections and would be happy to host a meeting at the library? Is there a local coach who might be willing to help us organize youth events?

There are people in our community with whom we have things in common and who are for us, not against us. Who are they and where are they?

See the attached document For more information about this month's practice.

Curiosity Project Second Hour, April 19, 2026

Tori Jones Long will lead the Curiosity Project Second Hour class this week. The group will discuss their experience with economic difference and inequality in our community. Participants are encouraged to spend time in places that are economically different from them and be attentive to where inequality and unmet needs show up.

Click the provided link for more information about this week's practice.

Even if you haven't completed the practice, you are invited to join the conversation and offer your experiences or learn about ways to start engaging with the project.

New Assistive Devices Table in Foyer

A table in the foyer now offers assistive devices to help everyone participate more fully in our worship. You’ll find items like large-print hymnals, noise-canceling headphones, and hearing devices, with additional supports such as fidgets added over time as needs are identified.

Please feel free to use these tools, return them after worship, and be in touch with Laura Alderfer or another member of the All In Project team if you have suggestions for what else may be needed.

Make sure to RSVP today if you'd like to join!

Faith Formation Night—Wednesday, April 15 from 5:30 P.M.-8:00 P.M.

At this month's Faith Formation Night, Sheldon Good will facilitate a panel discussion called "Salford Stories". During this time, an intergenerational group of panelists will share stories about Salford over the years and reflect on the continuities of our community and how it has experienced change. We hope these stories can root us in a common history while giving us confidence to be open to new possibilities, people, and ideas. Panelists will include Brad Alderfer, Meredith Ehst, Joan King, Linda Martin, and John Ruth.

Make sure to RSVP to Pastor Andrew by Monday, April 13.
