We've got a very different schedule this week as our vicariate children visit for Totus Tuus. Mass for the day will be celebrated at 11:15am Monday through Friday at the Church of the Resurrection and at 9:30am on Wednesday at St. Francis. We also have our Latin Language Mass at 9am and Confession from 3pm-4pm on Saturday at the Church of the Resurrection but Adoration will not be held on Tuesday evening or during the day on Thursday.

There will be a lot more green around the Church as our Sundays return to the cycle of readings for Ordinary Time and we see fewer martyr memorials in the daily liturgy. There are still some special days coming up - including the Memorial of St. Barnabas the Apostle and the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus later this week and the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist later this month.

ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION:
"Oh my most loving savior, since I cannot have the happiness of receiving you this day, suffer me to gather up the precious crumbs that fall from your table and to unite myself to your divine heart by faith, hope, and charity. I confess I do not deserve the children's bread; but I venture humbly to declare that, away from you, my soul is dried up with thirst and my heart cast down with faintness. Come, then, into me, o my divine Jesus! come into my mind to illuminate it with your light, come into my heart to enkindle in it the fire of your love, and unite it intently to your own that it may be no more that I live but that you live in me and reign in me forever. Amen."

This weekend, we celebrate The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. This day is an invitation to contemplate the True Presence of Christ in the Most Holy Eucharist.

"No other sacrament has greater healing power; through it, sins are purged away, virtues are increased, and the soul is enriched with an abundance of every spiritual gift."
-St. Thomas Aquinas
