Temple Jacob author visit April 16th!
Join us for a Yom HaShoah presentation by author Annette Gendler, who will share the story of her mother-in-law’s experience as a hidden child in France during the Holocaust and what it took to make this into an award-winning children’s book. This will include her research into the history of hidden Jews in France, the people who made it possible, as well as images and impressions from the family’s 2009 trip to the village where the mother-in-law had been hidden.
The talk at Temple Jacob is scheduled for 6:30PM, Thursday, April 16. Parking is available at Miners State Bank or the Marina. Her Storytime for Kids presentation at Portage Lake District Library is at 1PM on April 17.
