My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus, Saul was given and specific example as to what was to be done. Those instructions were to come from Samuel. When Saul saw "the people," those he was leading, and because Samuel seem to be taking an eternity to get to him in order to instruct him on what to do, Saul took matters into his own hands. What he did seem to be a good thing...situational ethics had gotten the best of him. Listen, when we act outside of the Word and the will of God, when we fail to wait on Him we run into trouble 100% of the time. God is fully aware of your situation personally as well as the church's. Don't get yourself into trouble for taking matters into your own hands by refusing to obey God's Word while waiting on Him...
