We had our annual FCC Leadership Retreat on Sunday “From Surviving to Thriving!” We had an amazing turnout with 35 leaders present and we spent time looking at ways to empower people to follow God’s will and become invested and involved in doing outreach. We focused on all that God has provided us and how we can better use what we have to do ministry in Guthrie and beyond. Thankful for all of those who serve!

It’s our 24th year to “Feed the Bluejays!” It is always a joy to host the Guthrie High School Football Team, their coaches and trainers before the first game of the season. They enjoyed the traditional meal of spaghetti, green beans, bread, and ice cream bars! Thank you to Janna Pierson and LaMoyne Hardin for coordinating this meal for the past 24 years!

We cannot say "thank you" enough to everyone who came and worked all morning helping us get the church put back together. Workday was amazing and we are so grateful! We are well on our way to being ready to reopen Mother's Day Out on Sept. 1. Last Sunday, we reopened the nursery for worship and this past week we got our offices moved back over! The flood recovery is almost complete!
