Chosen. Called. Covered.

Have you been chosen, called, and covered?

The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ came to save sinners. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, He made a way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to God.

When a person repents and places their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, they become part of God's family. They are chosen by God's grace, called out of darkness into His marvelous light, and covered by the precious blood of Christ.

"But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light."
— 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)

If you have never trusted Christ as your Savior, today can be the day of salvation. Jesus is still saving, still changing lives, and still calling people to Himself.

Life doesn't always make sense, and God's plan isn't always easy to understand. There are moments when the path ahead seems unclear, but God's people are called to trust Him, even when they cannot see what He is doing.

The Lord sees the whole picture. He knows the purpose behind every season and every step. Faith is not having all the answers—faith is trusting the One who does.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

When the plan doesn't make sense, trust the Author. He is faithful, and He will direct the path.

Give Dad a break this Father's Day and let us take care of breakfast!

Join us at 8:00 AM for a delicious Father's Day Breakfast, followed by Grow Groups at 9:30 AM and Worship Service at 11:00 AM.

No cooking. No dishes. Just good food, great fellowship, and time spent worshiping together as a family.

"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
— Psalm 118:24 (KJV)

One of my favorite songs comes straight from this verse:

"This is the day, this is the day that the Lord hath made, that the Lord hath made;
We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it..."

What a simple but powerful reminder. No matter what today brings—joys, challenges, victories, or struggles—God is still on the throne, and this day is His gift to us.

Let's choose gratitude over complaining, faith over fear, and praise over worry. We may not know what the day holds, but we know Who holds the day.

Your gift isn't about you. It's about Him.

God has given each of us unique abilities, talents, and opportunities to serve. Those gifts were never meant to draw attention to ourselves, but to point others to Christ and bring glory to God.

Whether you're teaching, serving, encouraging, singing, giving, or simply showing kindness, use what God has given you for His glory.

"If any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ..."

What an incredible week we had at Emerald Crossing VBS as we journeyed through Psalm 23 and learned that The Lord is our Shepherd!

As VBS came to a close, our prayer is that the truths learned this week will continue to grow in the hearts of every child, family, volunteer, and guest.

VBS Commencement is tonight at 6:30 PM!

We are looking forward to celebrating all that God has done during this week of VBS.

Supper will be served immediately following the commencement.

We are asking our church family to help by bringing desserts. If you can help, please bring your dessert to the Fellowship Hall before 6:30 PM, before the commencement begins.

Thank you for helping make this a special evening for our VBS families and guests. We look forward to seeing everyone tonight!
