Psalms finale is this week. This is it, the final book, the final act of Psalms. Through exile, wandering, and lament we celebrate the hallelujah. Rejoicing to a king who was and is and is to come. Coming together to praise God for everything! What’s our job today thousands of year later? Remember, Rise, and Rejoice!

Psalm 127 calls children arrows in the hands of a warrior. A warrior doesn't keep arrows tucked safely away in the quiver forever. Arrows are designed to fly. They're meant to be sent with purpose, direction, and impact.

But before an arrow is released, it must first be:

Formed – Shaped and strengthened through God's Word and truth.
Aimed – Given direction, purpose, and a vision for God's calling on their lives.
Released – Sent into the world with faith, courage, and confidence in who God created them to be.

Our goal as parents isn't simply to raise good kids—it's to raise disciples who know Jesus, love His Church, and impact the world around them.

May we be faithful to form, aim, and release the next generation for God's glory.

Life is over in an instant.

Psalm 90 reminds us to "number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." Every day is a gift, every moment an opportunity, and every season a chance to live for what matters most.

The average person has only a limited number of years on this earth.
The question isn't how many days we have—it's what we'll do with the days we've been given.

Will you spend them chasing things that fade, or investing in what lasts forever?

Sunday we were challenged to make our lives count—to love deeply, serve faithfully, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

Lord, teach us to number our days and make them count.
