"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day…”
II Timothy 4:7–8
It is with great sadness of heart that I inform you of the passing of Bishop Cornelius Williams. He was a gentle man, full of love, warmth, and humor, and a faithful servant of the Lord.
Bishop Williams was a devoted husband of 57 years, father, grandfather, servant, and friend. We will forever cherish the memories and the precious moments God allowed us to share with him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bishop Williams' departure is truly a loss to his family, our community, and our church family. While we may not fully understand the plan of God, we humbly surrender and submit to His will, trusting that He will comfort and strengthen us all during this time.
Please join me in keeping the Williams family lifted in prayer as they walk through this difficult season. May God surround us with His peace, comfort, and strength.
Information regarding Bishop Williams Celebration of Life services will be shared at a later date.
With love and deep respect,
Pastor Aurelius Williams
