To our loving church family,

I just wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers, and give an update from my latest doctor visit.

The stents have been removed going from both kidneys to the bladder.

My post op visit with the doctor yesterday, brought good news. Pathology was clean and clear of any cancer cells, praise God.

Next coarse of treatment is, in July, to have another three consecutive weeks of BCG, followed by a cystoscope in October. I will have an ultra sound on both kidneys in two months, to make sure they have healed and functioning properly, after the bilateral ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy procedure. If pathology comes back clean and clear, I will only have to have a cystoscope every three to six month routinely, to make sure the cancer has not come back, as the type I had is the stubborn reoccurring one.

Thank you, to my wonderful wife Carol, for her steadfast devotion to my care. I’m so sorry, for all you had to endure, through all of this. I could not have went through it without you. And thanks to all my loving family, church family, and loved ones, for all your prayers and support. I thank God for all He has done, and for the blessing of each one of you. To our loving church family,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone, for the outpouring of your love, prayers, and support for me, and Carol, in the health challenges we have been facing for the past ten months or more.

I can not express the gratitude and appreciation I have for my wife who has been at my side, during this whole ordeal. I love you with all my heart, and thank God everyday for the blessing of you in my life. I am the man I am, because of you.

As you all know, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in October last year and have had multiple treatments, and procedures. The Lord has blessed us and everything so far has been successful.

This past Thursday I had a procedure to get evaluated on the progress, if all appeared good, they would proceed up into both kidneys and remove the large stones present that I would not be able to pass on my own. The procedure was a success and the stones were removed, leaving stents to remove in a week.

I will have the stents removed in a couple of days, and will follow up with the doctor and the pathology results in about two weeks.

We are very optimistic and hope to hear only good news.
