A great resource for our community.
Join us for A Su***de Safer Community: Awareness, Care & Resources, a compassionate seminar designed to help our community recognize and respond to thoughts of su***de while providing care, hope, and resources for those impacted by su***de loss.
The seminar will be held at Bridge Christian Church, 1275 Goose Creek Road, Fishersville with doors opening at 8:30 a.m. for coffee and a light breakfast, with the seminar beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Our seminar speaker is Annette Williams, M.Ed., trained in su***de prevention/intervention/postvention; trains educators in safeTALK, ASSIST and Postvention Su***de Response; and Certified Bereavement Group Facilitator.
The breakfast, seminar, and all materials are provided free of charge.
“A Su***de Safer Community: Awareness, Care & Resources” is a collaborative effort of Bridge Christian Church and Isaiah 61 Ministries, funded in part by the Augusta Health Community Partnership.
