What an amazing day at the Rock Springs Outreach Center. There is an extraordinary truth that came out of today:

“Everybody has a story. Slow down long enough to hear it.”

Every day we help people at their point of need. Sometimes people bring a lot of very serious problems with them, and sometimes their actions can be kind of rough. It's never an excuse for bad behavior, but if we just slowed down and talked to the person, more often than not, there is a very real issue that causes it. And what I found out today, their reactions can sometimes be unconscious, through gestures and looks. Learning to watch and being observant of others can go a long way to building relationships and maybe even someone's salvation

My hands were made for worship. God’s hands are strong enough for the weight.
My hands were created to praise God, serve others, and faithfully do what He places within my reach. But they were never designed to carry everything.
God’s hands can hold my family, my responsibilities, my ministry, my unanswered questions—and everything beyond my control.
Today, I will do what God has given me to do. Then I will surrender the rest to Him.
“Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord.” —Psalm 134:2
Lord, I will worship You with my hands and trust what I cannot handle into Yours.

**ARE YOU CHASING LOVE, CARRYING PAIN, OR BEING CALLED BACK TO BETHEL?**

This Sunday in Sunday School, we are going to look at Leah’s pain, Jacob’s family crisis, and God’s call to return to Bethel.

Leah kept hoping Jacob would finally love her. But when Judah was born, something changed. She said:

**“This time I will praise the Lord.”**

Then in Genesis 34, we see what unresolved pain, silence, anger, and revenge can do to a family.

But Genesis 35 gives us hope. God tells Jacob to go back to Bethel, remove the idols, purify the household, and rebuild the altar.

We are going to ask some honest questions:

What are we still chasing?
What pain is controlling us?
What have we tolerated too long?
What do we need to bury?
Where is God calling us to return?

Come join us this Sunday for a serious, practical lesson that will help us examine where we stand and how to move forward with God.

God was trying to pull Lot out of S***m, but part of Lot still wanted to stay.

That is a serious thought for all of us.

Sometimes God is trying to pull us away from things that are hurting us, weakening us, or damaging our families — but our heart still wants to hold on.

This morning in Sunday School, we’ll be looking at Genesis 19 and the life of Lot. His story is a warning, but it is also a reminder of God’s mercy.
