What a tremendous day at the National Conference in Costa Rica as we celebrate 60 years of ministry and the faithfulness of God!

In November of 1966, God used Randall and Sharon Chester to begin this work in Costa Rica. What started with simple obedience and faith has grown into generations of churches, pastors, leaders, and lives transformed by the power of the Gospel.

Lord willing, I have prepared to preach today on “The Blessing of the 7th Time,” I was reminded that many miracles in Scripture came only after people refused to quit too soon. Naaman was healed on the seventh dip. Jericho fell after the seventh march on the seventh day. Elijah’s servant saw the cloud on the seventh look.

Today, Costa Rica stands as a testimony that God honors perseverance and faithfulness.

We thank God for every pastor, leader, missionary, and church member who has continued marching, praying, believing, and sowing into the Kingdom through the years.

The greatest days are still ahead!

This past Sunday was incredibly special for Kristie and me. I want to express my sincere appreciation to Pastor Mark Dobbs and the wonderful people of Green Valley CH Church for allowing me the opportunity to minister and for the kindness, love, and generosity they showed us.
Green Valley is not just another church to us—it’s deeply personal. It was the very first Pentecostal church I ever attended. It’s where I rededicated my life to the Lord, where I was baptized with the Holy Ghost, and where I felt the call to preach. It’s also where I preached my very first sermon on September 15, 1996.
To say this church is special to Kristie and me is truly an understatement. Standing there again, ministering in a place that played such a significant role in shaping my life and calling, was both humbling and overwhelming in the best way.
Thank you, Green Valley, for being a place where lives are changed and callings are discovered. And thank you again for making us feel so loved this past Sunday. We will always cherish what God has done—and continues to do—through this incredible church.

This post is a little late—between a full schedule and an unexpected illness in our family, we’re just now getting a moment to share.

But we didn’t want to miss saying how much we appreciated being with Bro. August and Sis. Tina Francis last Sunday, April 12, at Victory in Jesus Church in Woodville, TX. What a wonderful time of fellowship and ministry we experienced together!

It was also a blessing that Eliud and Sara Peña were able to meet us there and take the van we drove out to the border on into Mexico. God truly worked every detail out perfectly.

Grateful for great people, meaningful connections, and the opportunity to serve wherever He leads! 🙏

What an incredible week we had in Aruba! 🇦🇼☀️

Our CHC World Missions team experienced such a powerful move of God from beginning to end. We were blessed to take part in four worship services, each one special—but one that truly stood out was a beautiful Lord’s Supper service hosted by Pastor Tirzo and Sis. Gardenia Kolfin and the Congregacional Hesus Bo Speranza Nobo Church. We shared a meaningful time of teaching and reflection, and together we partook of a meal that included lamb, unleavened bread, and bitter herbs, bringing to life the depth and significance of what Christ has done for us.

We also had amazing opportunities for beach evangelism with the Church of Zion team, simply walking the shoreline, having conversations, and sharing the love of Jesus—and we rejoice that several people accepted Christ! 🙌

The fellowship was just as impactful. We are so grateful for the wonderful people of Congregacional Hesus Bo Speranza Nobo Church and Church of Zion—your love, kindness, and partnership in the Gospel meant so much to us.

We especially want to express our heartfelt appreciation for the incredible hospitality and friendship shown by our brothers and sisters in Aruba—Pastor Tirzo and Sister Gardenia Kolfin, and Pastor Roel and Rowena Tangco. Your love for God and your dedication to the work of the ministry is evident. God is truly blessing people in Aruba because of your faithful efforts, and it was an honor to serve alongside you.

And yes… we even got to enjoy a beautiful tour of the island, taking in the beauty of God’s creation in Aruba.

Lives were touched. Seeds were planted. Eternity was impacted.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, and supported this trip—you were a part of every moment.
