The weekly meeting of the Covering will not be held this coming Tuesday, September 4th, due to the Labor Day holiday. We will resume our regular meeting at 6:00 on Tuesday, September 11th. Have a great and safe Labor Day weekend!

God is alive and doing a wondrous thing in Griffin, GA. Yesterday at Fairmont Park we had a group of churches from all denominations, people from all walks of life, all races, all ages, all different abilities, coming together as one to work for the Kingdom of God! Just a little taste of what heaven will be like - no barriers. If you want to be a part of this outreach ministry, join us every Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at United Christian Fellowship, Griffin, GA for the meeting of The Covering.

Thank you dearest Father God for a great day of outreach at Fairmont Park yesterday. I pray that we reflected your Son, Jesus, in everything we said and did, and that we were good and faithful servants. Thank you, God, for answering prayer and despite the weather forecast (which we know does not tie your hands, Lord) we had a beautiful, rain free day! Thanks to all the volunteers from The Griffin Brotherhood, The Covering, and Arms of Care, the participating churches, the musicians and praise group, all involved in the wrestling show, and all of those that came on their own just to lend a hand. Thanks to those businesses and folks that donated anything towards this event. It was a LONG day and a LOT of hard work...but a rewarding labor of love. May God abundantly bless each and every one of you!!! Thank you, again.

Our outreach at Fairmont Park in Griffin this Saturday the 21st of July is in need of doctors, nurses, pastors, counselors, nutritionists, who would like to volunteer to work that day with Arms of Care's medical ministry from 11:00 am - 3:00 p.m. Not necessary to stay the entire time if you can't. We are sorry to announce that the outreach event scheduled for tomorrow (July 7th) at Fairmont Park has been postponed. Please plan to join "The Covering" as they meet on Tuesday evening, July 10th, 6:00 pm at United Christian Fellowship Church (across from Griffin Welcome Center), to work on the next upcoming outreach event.

If any churches/ministries in Griffin would like to find out what "The Covering" outreach ministry is and/or join with us in these outreach events, please come to our meetings at 6:00 p.m. every Tuesday, United Christian Fellowship, Griffin (across from Welcome Center). There are some great churches already involved. This ministry is interdenominational - we share a love of God and a passion for outreach.
