Covenant Church is located in Greer, SC. Our congregation is about Igniting Faith & Changing Lives

We want to Ignite Faith and Change Lives in the Eastside of Greenville and around the world. Worship with us on Sunday mornings, and hear what God wants to say to you! We have two traditional services Sunday at 8:20 AM and 11:00 AM, and a contemporary service at 9:40 AM.

El Salvador Compassion Trip 2026

The El Salvador team is back home! It was an incredible experience being a small part of what God is doing there. Thank you to Compassion International and all of the church partners for the amazing hospitality. While we are happy to be home with our loved ones, we will also be thinking of our new family in El Salvador!

Days 2 & 3 in El Salvador have been full of meaningful moments and reminders of God’s goodness! Jamie, our Director of Missions, shared the Sunday morning message, and our team received an incredibly warm welcome at the second Compassion center today.

More team members had the opportunity to meet their sponsor children, visit their homes, and see firsthand the incredible impact of sponsorship. We also led VBS, sharing God’s love with the children through stories and crafts!

Our hearts are full, and we’re so grateful for all God is doing here in El Salvador. Please continue to pray for our team, the children and families we’re meeting, and the lasting relationships being built throughout this trip!

40 years ago today, a group of individuals decided to lean into God’s call and founded Covenant Church.

Today, we celebrate God’s faithfulness through every season. What a blessing to look back on all He has done and look forward to all He has yet to do! Happy Birthday Covenant!

Day 1 in El Salvador was filled with fellowship amongst the team members, an incredibly warm and festive welcome, and insightful conversations with the Compassion Center staff and sponsor kids. Some of the team members were able to visit their sponsor child in their respective homes and get a first hand glimpse of their day to day. It was an incredibly heartwarming experience for everyone. The team is looking forward to experiencing worship in the morning and more team bonding time as we continue to prepare for all that God has in store for this week!

Our El Salvador Compassion Trip team is getting ready to go! Please be praying for our team as they love on kids, connect with families, and share God’s love throughout the trip. Pray for safe travels, meaningful moments, and hearts that are changed along the way. We can’t wait to see what God does!

Can you believe it’s already Operation Christmas Child season? Shoeboxes will be available for pickup in the Welcome Center starting this Sunday! Pack a shoebox and share the love of Jesus with a child around the world.

And a big thank you to everyone who showed up to build boxes last night!

Today, we celebrate the four pastors God has placed at Covenant Church. Pastor Darren Hook, Pastor Mike Smith, Pastor Melodie Streett, and Pastor Patrick Griffey - thank you for leading with wisdom and grace, for praying over our church family, and for giving so much of yourselves to see others grow in their relationship with Christ. Your faithfulness and love for God and His people will never go unnoticed.
