Are boundaries biblical?

We hear a lot about “setting boundaries” these days. Sometimes boundaries are necessary and healthy. Other times, what we call a boundary may actually be avoidance, punishment, control, or an unwillingness to receive correction.

So how do we tell the difference?

Jesus had boundaries. Scripture calls us to wisdom, discernment, forgiveness, accountability, and love. But biblical boundaries may look different from the boundaries our culture has taught us to expect.

Our newest blog explores what Scripture has to say about boundaries, forgiveness, reconciliation, accountability, difficult relationships, and knowing when distance may be wise.

If you're currently wrestling through a difficult relationship or trying to discern what faithfulness looks like in a complicated situation, you don't have to navigate those questions alone.

All for One Ministries offers Christ-centered biblical counseling to help you slow down, seek God's wisdom, examine your own heart, and work through difficult relationship dynamics with truth, grace, and compassion.

Sometimes the wisest boundary is also the hardest one to set.

Kingdom Builder Spotlight 🤎

Say hello to Suzanne Little!

Kingdom Builders help create opportunities for All for One to serve, connect, and bring hope into our community through consistent generosity.

We asked Suzanne what inspired them to become a Kingdom Builder:

“I support A41 because I believe sharing the love of Christ is important. Reaching out to those who may otherwise not have any support and showing them that they are cared for is something I love that our community does.”

Stories like this remind us that generosity is about more than giving; it's about believing in what God can do through people working together.

Thank you, Suzanne, for being part of the story! 🤎

🤎Scripture Friday

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” – Hebrews 10:24

We’re not meant to do life alone.

If it’s encouraging a student, serving alongside a volunteer, sharing coffee with a friend, or supporting our community, every act of kindness has the opportunity to point someone toward hope.

Let’s encourage one another to keep loving, serving, and making a difference.

Kingdom Builder Spotlight⭐

Behind every ministry opportunity is someone who chose to say “yes” to the mission.

This week, we’re honored to introduce Chris and Valerie Stephen, one of our faithful Kingdom Builders.

When we asked why they partner with All for One Ministries, they shared:

“We remember when All For One Ministry started as a calling to bring together multi-denominational Christians to glorify God in our community through worship. Since then, we've watched the ministry grow and evolve along God's path and intent and cannot wait to support the growth of Christ in our community.”

Thank you for helping make moments of hope, encouragement, and connection possible. We’re thankful to have you serving alongside us through your generosity. 🤎

Some things are essential. 🤎

Oxygen. Water. And a little time in the Word. 📖✨

Because taking care of yourself isn't just about what you put into your body; it's about making space for what feeds your soul, too.

Consider this your reminder to open your Bible today. 🤎

Meet Our New Board Member: Matthew Metz 🤎

We’re excited to introduce Matthew Metz as one of the newest members of the All for One board!

Matthew and his wife, Emily, have been married for 11 years and are raising four children: Landon, Mattison, Leiana, and Lilian. Family is a big part of Matthew’s life, as is serving the community around him.

Matthew has pastored Heritage Bible Community Church for the past 10 years, while also owning and operating his own lawn care business. His passion for serving others extends throughout the community. He has taught Connect Classes at The Branch, served as an All for One mentor, regularly taught chapel at Good Shepherd, and been involved in many other community ministry opportunities through his church.

Now, Matthew is bringing that same heart for people to the All for One board. 🤎

When asked what excites him about joining the board, Matthew shared that he’s excited to be part of what All for One is doing to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. He hopes to see our community experience the love of Jesus and the abundant life He gives.

We’re grateful for Matthew’s heart for people, his passion for serving, and his desire to see our community thrive. We’re excited to have him join the All for One board!

Help us welcome Matthew Metz! 👋🤎
