Today, September 8, we celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary – the birth of the woman whose faithful “yes” would open the way for the coming of Christ. From the beginning, Mary’s life was part of God’s saving plan. Her feast reminds us that God is quietly at work long before we can see the fullness of what He is preparing. May we trust His providence and, like Mary, allow our lives to bring Jesus into the world. Blessed Mother, pray for us!

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Mary is a model for each of us. Through her “yes” to God at the Annunciation, she opened the path to our salvation.

On this special feast, let us pray for all those who need to grow closer to Jesus.

May we remember that everything Mary does leads us closer to loving her Son. 🙏

Today we celebrate Labor Day, a day to recognize the dignity and importance of work.

God has given each of us unique gifts and talents. Through our work, we can provide for our families, strengthen our communities, and build up our parishes and the Church.

May this Labor Day remind us to be grateful for the gift of work and for the dignity of every person.

Through the intercession of St. Joseph the Worker, may God bless all who labor today. 🙏

On this Twenty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time, Jesus reminds us that discipleship is never lived alone. We are called to seek reconciliation, to speak the truth with love, and to care for one another as members of His Body. When conflict arises, may we resist division and instead work patiently for healing and unity. Christ promises to remain with us: “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
