This week, we were reminded that every believer experiences a daily battle between the desires of the flesh and the leading of the Holy Spirit. The good news? God is continually transforming us from the inside out!

🌱 What Are You Growing?�
What we consistently cultivate in our hearts will eventually show up in our words, actions, and attitudes. The influences we allow into our lives shape the fruit we produce.

🍇 The Fruit of the Spirit Is Evidence of Transformation�
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are not produced by trying harder—they grow as we surrender our lives to the Holy Spirit and walk closely with Him.

⏸️ Pause and Let the Spirit Lead�
This week, take time to identify what you're feeding in your life, choose one fruit of the Spirit to intentionally practice, and pause before reacting by asking, "What would the Spirit produce here?"

🙏 The struggle within doesn't mean you're failing—it means God is still at work in you. Keep walking with Him and trust Him to grow something new in your life.

Why does First Friday matter?

Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 10 am - 11 pm, the Greencastle Church of the Nazarene will be giving out refrigerated essentials to bless families in our community as part of our new Cold Food Pantry Ministry:

🥚Eggs
🥛Milk
🧈Butter
🧀 A brick of cheddar cheese

Here’s how it works:
➡ Pull into the main parking lot
➡ Drive up under the church awning
➡ Our volunteers will bring the items out to you

Our next dates are June 3rd and June 17th.

Because this ministry is new and currently funded on a small scale, we can only serve a limited number of families at a time.

As support grows, we hope to expand the number of households we can bless. For now, we’re grateful to help a few families as this ministry begins.
