Summer is busy ☀️

You’re trying to soak up time with your kids, get outside, rest, make it to all the events, keep everyone fed, and juggle all the things summer brings.

In the middle of all the chaos and fun, don’t forget—faith can happen in the simple moments too.

It doesn’t have to look perfect or complicated:
🤍 Pray together in the car
🤍 Talk about God while on a walk
🤍 Ask your kids what they learned at church
🤍 Read one short Bible story before bed
🤍 Point out the beauty of God’s creation outside

Small conversations matter more than you think.

💬 Parents, what are some easy ways YOU keep the conversation about God going during the summer months? We’d love to hear your ideas below!

We’re just one month away from an exciting day in Bethel Kids!

Sunday, June 7th is Promotion Sunday, and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with your family.

When you arrive that morning, your child’s name tag will reflect their new classroom:

Preschoolers are placed based on their age as of June 1st (so they stay with similarly aged friends throughout the year)
Elementary kids are grouped by the grade they’re entering school in the Fall
A couple helpful notes:

If your child is 5 years old but NOT attending Kindergarten this fall, they will remain in our Pre-K class. Please reply to Brittany at [email protected] so we can make sure their name tag is correct.
If your child is entering 6th grade, they will begin transitioning into Student Ministry. Middle schoolers typically attend service with you on the first Sunday of the month, and their class meets during the 10:30 service on other Sundays. They will also no longer need to check in at Bethel Kids.
If you have questions, feel free to reach out to Bucky Kramer at [email protected].

Tuesday Truth Time
As we step into May, we’re diving into some powerful truths in Bethel Kids!

🔵 Preschool:
This month, our preschoolers are learning that Jesus cares about everyone.
Community helpers show us what it looks like to care for others—but Jesus shows us the greatest love of all. No matter who we are or where we come from, His love is for us!

✨ “How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” — Ephesians 3:18
We’re saying it all month long: “Hats off to Jesus!”

🟠 Elementary:
We’re continuing through God’s Big Story and discovering that we are living in it right now! From Peter and Paul’s bold faith to John’s vision of heaven, kids will see how God is still working—and how we can be part of sharing the Good News.

No matter what we face, we can trust the Holy Spirit to help us.

✨ Keep the conversation going at home:
“How can you show someone that Jesus cares about them this week?”

Let’s grow together 🤍

Tuesday Truth Time ✨

This week in Bethel Kids, we’re diving into some powerful truths:

🟠 Preschool: Heaven — a beautiful reminder that God is making all things new and wants to be with us forever.
🔵 Elementary: The Fruit of the Spirit — learning how the Holy Spirit helps us live and love like Jesus every day.

No matter the age, the truth is the same: God is with us, He is working in us, and He is growing something good in our hearts.

💬 Keep the conversation going at home:
“What is one way you can show the fruit of the Spirit this week?”

Let’s grow together 🤍

What your kids experienced yesterday doesn’t have to stay at church—it can carry into your home all week long.

Take a few minutes today to ask:
💬 “What did you learn about Jesus?”
💬 “Who can we share His love with this week?”

Simple conversations can make a lasting impact.

Let’s keep building faith together—one moment at a time.

04/18/2026

As you head into the weekend, here’s a simple way to slow down and spend a few meaningful moments together as a family.

This Week’s Focus: The Great Commission & Ascension
Scripture: Matthew 28:16–20; Acts 1:6–11

Take a few minutes to read these passages together. This is where Jesus gives His followers an important mission—to go and tell others about Him—and then returns to heaven, promising that He will always be with us.

These moments remind us that the story doesn’t end with Easter—we are part of what comes next.

Digging Deeper Together:
Ask a few of these questions and let your child lead the conversation:

What do you think Jesus meant when He said to “go and make disciples”?
Who are some people we can share Jesus with?
How does it make you feel knowing Jesus is always with us?
Why do you think Jesus gave us a mission?
What is one simple way you can show or tell someone about Jesus this week?

There are no “perfect” answers—this is about creating space for your child to think, wonder, and talk.

Make It Simple:
Keep it short and natural
Let your child ask questions too
Share your own thoughts and faith with them

These small moments matter more than you know. You’re building a foundation of faith that lasts.

We’re so grateful to partner with you!
