Our Pr***en kids used the gifts God has given them to work together and create something beautiful!

We walked through the chapters in Exodus that tell the story of the building of the Tabernacle and how God used His people, their talents, and their gifts to each play a part in building something for His glory.

Today, our kids got to experience that same truth firsthand: God has given each of us unique gifts, and when we use them together, He can create something greater than we could create on our own.

There’s a place for every gift, every talent, and every person in God’s story. ✨

Bethel Kids is blessed with so many husband-and-wife duos who choose to serve together and pour into the next generation each week. This next couple came to Bethel Kids with a heart for both kids and women, and we have been so blessed by the way they have jumped in and served. Let me introduce you to Emily and Andrew, our amazing Pr***en volunteers during the 10:30 service! They bring a genuine love for our students and a willingness to invest in them right where they are. We are so thankful for the way they show up, build relationships, and point our Pr***ens toward Jesus.

Andrew and I are high school sweethearts and have been married for almost four years. We've been attending Bethel for about two years, and after learning about the children's ministry, we knew we wanted to get involved. We've been serving together with the Pr***ens for the past year, and it has been such a blessing!
We love having the opportunity to share Jesus with these amazing kids and watch their faith grow. One of our favorite parts of Sunday mornings is listening to their thoughtful conversations and seeing their excitement to learn more about God. It's encouraging to see them growing into disciples, and we know God has incredible plans for their lives. Bethel's future is in great hands!
Outside of church, Andrew is a 7th-grade math teacher at South Putnam, where he also coaches basketball and serves as the FCA leader. I'm a 7th-grade math teacher at North Putnam. We both have a heart for investing in children and teenagers, both in and out of the classroom.
We also have a daughter, Cali, who recently turned 2. Being her parents is our greatest joy! In our free time, we love spending time outdoors and making memories with our family.
We're so thankful to be part of the Bethel family and grateful for the opportunity to serve!

This week, we’re learning about Gifted Together: Building the Tabernacle from Exodus 25:8–9; 39:42–43.

God gave His people different skills and gifts, and they worked together to build the Tabernacle. God gives each of us unique gifts, and He wants us to use them to serve Him and others.

You show up, serve, love, teach, encourage, pray, and create spaces where kids can learn about and experience the love of Jesus. We truly could not do this without you!

Let’s meet a newer volunteer to Bethel Kids, but someone who jumped right in and has been a blesssing to our Pre-K room!

“Hi, I’m Morgan! I live in Greencastle with my husband, John, and our two children, Raelynn (15) and Jaxtyn (4), whom we also homeschool. I am a registered nurse and work full-time as a case manager for individuals with disabilities.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, traveling, and painting ceramics with my daughter. My family has been attending Bethel for almost three years, and I’ve loved watching our faith and relationship with God continue to grow.

I’ve been serving with the Pre-K kids for about a year, and it’s been such a joy to get to know each of them and watch them learn, grow, and deepen their love for Jesus. ❤️”

Let me introduce you to a lady who, if you attend the 9am service, is one of the first people you see as you walk to Bethel Kids. Jennifer has a heart of gold and cares for others deeply.

“Hi, I’m Jennifer and I’m one of the volunteers at check in! I enjoy greeting everyone as they come in and meeting new guests.

I have been married to my husband Brandon for 18 years and we have two children Hailee (sophomore)and Owen(6th grade). Hailee also volunteers in the baby room!

The kids keep us busy with sports (football and softball) 4-H, FFA, school plays, and taking care of our beef and dairy cattle.

This fall I will be starting my third year with Old National Trail in the Lifeskills classroom at Fillmore elementary.”

We are grateful for Jennifer and Hailee and their love for Bethel Kids!
