What must someone feel before they are saved? The answer might surprise you: conviction. Guilt. Sorrow over sin.
In Acts 2, Peter boldly declares, "This Jesus, whom YOU crucified..." These words aren't meant to condemn, but to awaken us to the depth of God's love. Our sins put Jesus on that cross—yet His love held Him there. The Father planned it. The Son fulfilled it. The Holy Spirit proclaims it.
Over 330 Old Testament prophecies pointed to this moment. God's entire plan, carried out in perfect detail, all for one purpose: YOUR freedom. Freedom from sin, death, and the devil's power. Jesus didn't just die—He rose victorious, making you free.
This Memorial Day weekend, we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. How much more should we remember the One who gave everything so we could truly be free? Let His love convict you. Let His sacrifice move you to faith.
