There is no one who is more joyful than Jesus Christ, but we also read in the scriptures that "Jesus wept" (John 11:35, New Testament). The joyful truth is that Christ weeps with us. Because He knows our pain, He can carry us through our sorrow to greater joy. By choosing to walk with Christ, we choose joy. We choose to let go of sin and allow Him to heal our hearts.

God doesn't expect you to find joy on your own. That's why He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to overcome all things. It is also why He sends missionaries to bring people closer to Christ by teaching them how to follow His example. Just like the sun rises to bring light to a new day, Jesus Christ rose to bring hope into every tomorrow. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." (Psalm 30:5, Old Testament).

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from congregations in Great Falls were asked to plan and present the Baccalaureate program to honor the class of 2026.

It was a beautiful evening full of music and encouragement. Thank you to all who contributed and supported the event.

Because of His greater love, you get to try again and again and again. Nothing is impossible with Christ’s love. No matter how broken you think you are, Jesus Christ’s love is for you.

As Mary Magdalene and her companions mournfully approached the Garden Tomb, two angels appeared to them and shared the clarion call of all Christianity:

"Why seek ye the living among the dead?"

"He is not here, but is risen" (Luke 24:5-6).

This Easter season we also joyfully testify of this same eternal truth—Jesus Christ is risen. He lives!

The Savior of the world was crucified and, on the third day, rose from the dead, "the firstfruits of them that slept" (1 Corinthians 15:20). His Resurrection allows all to be resurrected, and through His grace, we can find peace "which passeth all understanding" (Philippians 4:7) and "be perfected in him" (Moroni 10:32).

We invite each of you during this Easter season to "seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written" (Ether 12:41). As you do so, we testify that your Easter celebrations can strengthen your own faith and testimony that "death is conquered; man is free. Christ has won the victory" ("He Is Risen!" Hymns, no. 199).
