We provide comprehensive Christian discipleship training through the Word of God, the Bible; equipping men to become vital, productive members of society in their communities.

🚗 HELP RESTORE A CLASSIC… HELP RESTORE LIVES 🚗

What do a 1955 Ford Fairlane and a man struggling with addiction have in common?

Both may look worn down, forgotten, and beyond repair.

But God specializes in restoration.

This beautiful 1955 Ford Fairlane was donated to U-Turn for Christ Oregon and has become much more than an old car. It represents the work we see God doing every day in the lives of men who come through our program broken, hurting, and looking for hope.

Our vision is to restore this classic Ford Fairlane while raising support for the ministry and the life-changing work happening at U-Turn for Christ Oregon.

Every donation helps provide:

✅ Housing
✅ Food
✅ Discipleship
✅ Biblical Counseling
✅ Vocational Training
✅ Family Restoration
✅ Hope Through Jesus Christ

This year’s Game Roast theme comes from Joel 2:25:

“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…”

Just as this Fairlane can be restored to something beautiful, we believe God can restore lives, families, marriages, and futures.

💪 Monday in Action at U-Turn for Christ Oregon 💪

While most people were starting another week, the guys were already hard at work. 🔨🌿

Some of the men spent the day with Jason, Wade, and Mike, hanging drywall and learning valuable construction skills. 🏠🔨

Others were out with Donald helping with farm work and serving our neighbor Carrie, who works with the Josephine County Farm Collective. 🚜🌱

Different projects. Different locations.

Same purpose.

Learning responsibility.
Learning skills.
Learning how to serve others.

That’s one of the things we love about this ministry. Every day provides an opportunity for these men to grow, work, and become productive members of the community again.

Not long ago, many of these guys were struggling just to make it through the day.

Today they’re showing up.
Working hard.
Helping their neighbors.
Learning trades.
Building a future.

That’s what restoration looks like. ✝️

🌲⛰️ Exploring the Oregon Caves ⛰️🌲

This Saturday, Pastor Jacob, men from the Calvary Chapel Grants Pass Men’s Ministry, and men from 2nd Phase at U-Turn for Christ Oregon spent the day exploring one of Oregon’s incredible treasures, the Oregon Caves National Monument. 🦇🏔️

What a great day of fellowship, laughter, adventure, and brotherhood. 🤝

One of the things we try to teach the men is that life isn’t just about staying away from the things that destroyed them.

It’s about discovering the things worth living for.

🌲 Exploring God’s creation
🤝 Building healthy friendships
📖 Growing in faith
💪 Learning how to enjoy life in a healthy way

These moments matter.

Some of the best conversations happen on a trail, in a car ride, or while exploring something new together. It’s where relationships are built and where men learn they’re not walking this journey alone.

A huge thank you to the men of Calvary Chapel Grants Pass for continuing to invest in the lives of these guys and walking alongside them. 🙌

Days like this remind us that recovery isn’t just about leaving an old life behind, it’s about building a new one. ✝️

🔨🏠 Building More Than a Pump House 🏠🔨

Today the guys were out working on a small construction project, building a shed to serve as a pump house. 💪

To some people, it might just look like another project.

But for these men, it’s an opportunity to learn.

📏 Measuring
🔨 Framing
🪚 Using tools
🤝 Working together
💪 Finishing what they start

That’s one of the things we love about these projects.

The shed will protect equipment and serve a practical purpose for the ranch, but the real value is what happens while it’s being built.

Every project is a chance to learn a skill.
Every skill is a chance to build confidence.
Every day is a chance to do something different than before.

That’s what restoration looks like.

One board at a time.
One project at a time.
One man at a time. ✝️

🚣‍♂️🌊 A Day on the Rogue River 🌊🚣‍♂️

Sometimes recovery looks like work projects, classes, and discipleship.

Sometimes it looks like a day on the river.

Recently, a group of the guys joined Pastor Jeromy for a float down the beautiful Rogue River. We launched at Schroeder Park, floated to the ranch, fired up some incredible cheddar jalapeño smash burgers with chili 🍔🌶️, spent time laughing and hanging out, then loaded back into the boats with the dogs 🐕 and continued all the way to Griffin Park.

From 10:00 in the morning until nearly 4:00 in the afternoon, it was nothing but fellowship, conversation, and enjoying God’s creation. ☀️🌲🌊

One of the things we try to teach the men is that life doesn’t end when addiction ends.

In many ways, it begins.

Learning how to enjoy life.
Learning how to build healthy friendships.
Learning how to make memories.
Learning how to have fun without substances.

These moments matter.

We’re grateful for days like this and for the opportunity to watch these men discover that there is still joy, adventure, and purpose waiting for them. ✝️🙌

🔥 ONE MAN. ONE CHANCE. 🔥

Today we got some incredible news.

Billy Woods passed his final GED test! 📚✅

Next month he’ll officially graduate and receive his GED, and after that he’ll be enrolling in college to pursue a career in engineering. 💪

Take a second and think about that.

Not long ago, Billy was struggling with fentanyl addiction and a life that was heading in a completely different direction.

Today he’s talking about college.

Today he’s being a father again.

Today he’s building a future.

That’s what restoration looks like. ✝️

And here’s something important…

Billy didn’t come here with the money to pay for a program.

Like many of the men who come through our doors, he simply came needing help.

And we said yes.

Because when a man is ready to change, that might be his one real chance.

This is why we do what we do.

Not just to help a man get sober.

But to help him discover that his story isn’t over.

To help him become the father, worker, student, and man God created him to be.

We’re proud of you, Billy. Keep going brother. 🙌

The guys were out beautifying a property, putting in work, learning valuable skills, and taking pride in doing something right. 🛠️🌱

A lot of people don’t realize this is part of the restoration process too.

Learning:
👉 responsibility
👉 consistency
👉 teamwork
👉 how to work hard and finish what you start

For some of these men, this is the first time in a long time they’ve had structure and purpose like this.

And you can see the difference.

One yard at a time.
One project at a time.
One man at a time. ✝️
