Gospel Rescue Mission Grants Pass

Gospel Rescue Mission Grants Pass Helping the broken to live and not just exist since 1983. This is all done through hands on help with staff and volunteers, and through community partnerships.

“If we can’t do it, we know who can!” This saying applies to programs like housing assistance, health insurance, full job skills training etc. By ourselves, we cannot take care of every single aspect of our residents lives, but we know who can.The truth is that, while staying at the Mission, our residents aren’t just receiving care for their immediate needs, but doors are open to all of those who

are here for them to become stable and restored members of our community! Our Staff interacts with local service agencies
We have an open door policy for our local Public Safety Employees
We clean the main streets in downtown Grants Pass on a regular basis
We work with local merchants and other organizations to help them understand homelessness, and we are a place for them to encourage homeless men and women to come for help.

Mark your calendars for a day of food, fun, and celebration! 🍔🎶

Our parking lot is transforming into a space of fun and shared purpose for Food on Foundry on June 27th. Bring the whole family to 📍 540 SW Foundry St for local food trucks, live music, and activities for all ages.

It’s the perfect chance to connect with neighbors and celebrate the strength of our incredible community.

We're paying for homelessness the hard way—and it’s costing taxpayers up to $50,000 a year per person just to keep them cycling through the system. 🛑📉

MissionView Village is changing the math by giving forgotten seniors a permanent, structured exit ramp off the streets. Moving just 20 seniors into this community saves taxpayers $1 million every single year while restoring real dignity. It’s not just a real estate project; it’s the smartest financial and human investment our town can make.

What an incredible time at the Boatnik Parade this past Saturday!🇺🇸

We had an absolute blast connecting with our amazing Grants Pass community. To everyone who stopped us to say hello, shared a word of encouragement, or told us how much you support the Mission—thank you. Your kind words remind us why we love serving this city.

Every month, our residents explore a new theme designed to replace old patterns with biblical truth. This May, we dive into "Honesty That Heals," discovering how bringing our darkest secrets into the light of Christ is the first step toward true restoration and a life of integrity.

Jena arrived at the Fikso Family Center in December with a heavy dose of skepticism. “I thought I wasn’t going to make it because of all the rules,” she recalled.

For many individuals coming off the streets, rules can feel like a cage. However, Jena soon discovered that the Mission’s community wasn’t there to judge her disabilities, but to support her.

Matthew 12:36 reminds us that our words matter deeply. They can wound or encourage, divide or bring peace.

At Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission, we try to be mindful of the way we speak to and about one another. That means turning away from gossip, choosing encouragement when we can, and creating a workplace rooted in grace, respect, and unity.

We don’t do this perfectly, but we believe healthy words can help build a healthier community. 🤝

It’s hard to move forward without being honest about where you are.

That’s why we try to approach our work with openness, humility, and a willingness to grow. We pray that in the way we serve our residents and our community, people see glimpses of God’s love and faithfulness.

Trust is built little by little, and we’re grateful for every opportunity to serve with sincerity and care. ❤️
