When we decide to follow Jesus, it affects every choice we make from that moment forward. The more we involve God in our decision process, the wiser our choices will be.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. —2 Corinthians 5:10 NIV

Lord, please remind me of Your presence with every choice I make. I want to consult with You on everything because You are wise and good! Amen.

The Lord your God wants His children to live this day abundantly, seeing all there is to see, doing all there is to do. Do not be distracted by future concerns. Leave them all to God. Each day of life is a glorious gift, but so few know how to live within the confines of today. Much of our energy for abundant living spills over the time line into tomorrow’s worries or past regrets. The Lord is training us to keep our focus on His Presence in the present. This is how to receive abundant Life, which flows freely from God’s throne of grace.

Are you holding back tentatively in your time with your heavenly King? Be bold and confident! Jesus loves you. He understands you. He wants the best for you. He will show you grace and mercy in whatever it is that you seek.

Each and every day, we are given the most incredible opportunity. We are given the chance to talk to a God who has been in our shoes. A man who literally walked the walk. He is waiting for us to walk up to him and ask him anything.
