We are excited to host a free screening and discussion on the documentary Juneteenth: Faith & Freedom from Our Daily Bread. The plan is to watch the film together and have some small group discussions around tables afterward. We plan to provide a light dinner (pizza or hot dogs, depending on sign-ups). There will NOT be child care provided for this event. Please sign up at tcc.church/juneteenth if you plan to attend.

Film Description:
A Black man is troubled by the legacy of American slavery and the misuse of Christianity to justify it. He travels throughout Texas and discovers how the Juneteenth holiday reveals the hope and courage that empowered the formerly enslaved and their descendants to fight for freedom in an often unjust society.
