Tuesday Mornings
Hungers and Habits Summer Edition (Bible Study and Prayer Walk)
Be a part of a weekly check-in on your hungers and habits in God’s Word as we study the Bible and head out to pray throughout our
neighborhood.
Leader: Pastor Phil
Time: 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
Location: Sanctuary and City Life Neighborhoods

Tuesday Evenings
Quiet Fire: Scripture, Fire, Wood Burning, and Reflection in
Community
Quiet Fire is a scripture-centered group focused on a time to slow
down and listen for God speaking in your life.
Leader: Ben Kraker
Time: 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
Location: The Kraker Backyard

Wednesday Evenings
Fathers & Sons
Join us for hikes, pickup games, and time outdoors for dads and their
sons. We'll meet God the way generations of fathers and sons have
outside, side-by-side, in the middle of something worth doing. Meets
eight times (off the week of July 4).
Leader: Aaron Meles
Time: 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Location: Various

Recovery/Support - Overcoming Addiction
This 12 step recovery group has biblical foundations and will teach,
discuss, and apply those principles to life and the recovery journey.
This is open to all men and women.
Leaders: Stacy Jenkins and Matt Emery
Time: 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Location: Sanctuary

Saturday Afternoons
Recovery/Support - Redeemed Sisters
This is a faith-based recovery and support collective. This group is a
sanctuary for sisters in Christ to find real-talk and support that goes
beyond addiction into the whole woman. God has a path for each of
us and we want to help one another find that path.
Leader: Erica Oliver
Time: 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Location: Youth Room

We are starting a fun, new sermon series this Sunday on the topic of God's creation! Join us for *All Creation Sings!" This whole series will be focused on connecting us more deeply with God's incredible nature...the land, the stars, the water...his plants, his animals, and more!

Over the course of this series, you'll hear people's stories of how they encountered God in nature, you'll get to see the Skidmore Natural History Museum (smile), and you'll see artwork and photos by City Lifers who paused to capture the beauty of what God has made.

We also have some other engagements outside of church services to help you enjoy and experience the beauty of God's work. One of our City Lifers will be leading a few invasive species pulling days. There will be an overnight backpacking trip for those inclined toward adventure. There are several park events in various parks around the city, including Jazz in the Park, Ice Cream in the Park, invasives hunting in four different parks, walk & talks, and more!

Summer Re:Creation
Warm Days. Good Friends. Shared Life.

Summer is a good time to PLAY! We dream of a church of many ethnicities where people worship together, pray together, work together, dream together, eat together, and PLAY TOGETHER! Join us at City Life Church this summer as we get outside, get dirty, get community, get refreshed, and get some re-creation in God’s creation!

PENTECOST SUNDAY- Sunday, May 24
On Sunday, May 24, we are celebrating with a special Holy Spirit focused Sunday! Pentecost is the giving of the Holy Spirit to all believers and the birthday of the church! Pastor Kevin Chilton will be preaching that day, and the worship team has a special Sunday planned. We are inviting everyone to wear the colors of fire to celebrate the day—red, orange, yellow, etc!

Vacation Bible School 2026

This year's Vacation Bible school theme will be Made for This Sports and Arts Camp. Each child will be placed on a team for the week to learn new skills, practice some old ones, and grow closer to Jesus. Kids will learn that they were made for creation, made for movement, and made for more! This is an all-hands-on-deck sort of event that we host each year, because at City Life we believe it is our responsibility to raise children up in the way they should go so that when they grow up they do not depart from it.

Everyone at City Life should plan to help in one of the following ways; through prayer in the weeks leading up, through helping prepare for the event by attending one of our VBS prep days this summer, or as a volunteer at VBS on August 3-6 from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m
