Today is Saturday…
And Heaven is silent

Not peaceful silence
but the kind that aches
the kind that makes you wonder
If anything will ever feel alive again

Because yesterday
Hope was buried

The stone was rolled
The tomb was sealed

And all the promises
felt like they were buried with Him

This is the day in between

Between what was
and what will be

Between heartbreak
and redemption

And no one knew yet

No one felt victory coming

All they felt
was loss

Confusion
Fear
Silence

The kind of silence
where prayers feel like they hit the ceiling

The kind of waiting
That makes you question everything

Did we misunderstand?
Did we hope too much?
Was it all… for nothing?

This is the day
where faith doesn’t feel strong

It feels like holding on
with trembling hands

This is the day
where God feels quiet

But quiet
does not mean absent

Because even in the silence

Even in the dark

Even in the sealed tomb

God was still working

Even when no one could see it
Even when no one could feel it

Something was shifting

Because Saturday
is not the end

It’s the space
where miracles are preparing to breathe

So if today feels quiet
If it feels heavy
If it feels like nothing is happening

You are not alone

This day has existed before

The day when everything feels over

right before
everything changes

Today is Saturday

And even when it feels like nothing

God is still moving

Even here

Even now

I am Barabbas.
Sinner.
Guilty as charged.
Caught red-handed.
No excuses.
No defense.
No way out.

I broke the law,
God's law.
Wore chains I forged with my own hands.
My verdict?
Deserved.
My sentence?
Death.

But then--
He stood in my place.

Jesus.
Innocent.
Spotless.
The only One who never sinned--
Took the cup I poured.
Wore the thorns I earned.
Carried the cross with my name on it.

They called for Him to die,
and for me--
To walk free.

I am Barabbas.
Released not because I was right--
But because He was righteous.
Given life I didn't earn.
Grace I can't explain.
A second chance I never asked for--
but desperately needed.

He died the death I deserve
So I could live the life He gives.

Now, every breath I take
Whispers mercy.
Every step I walk
Echoes grace.

I am Barabbas--
But I've been changed.
I walk free.
Not to return to the chains,
But to live in the light of the One
Who took my place.

He knew Judas would betray Him.
He knew Peter would deny Him.
He knew the cross was coming.

And still—
He washed their feet.
He broke the bread.
He loved them.

To the very end.

It’s easy to rush past Wednesday, eager for the powerful moments of the Last Supper and the empty tomb—but this day invites us to reflect more deeply.

Where is my heart in this story?
Am I drawing closer to Christ, or drifting away in distraction?
Am I faithful in the quiet, unseen moments?

Even in the stillness, God is at work.
Even in the waiting, His plan is unfolding.

Jesus spent his last days teaching. Doing the most He could with the time He had. He gave us the parable of the talents to help examine our own lives.

It’s a reminder that what we’ve been given—our time, gifts, and opportunities—isn’t meant to be buried in fear or doubt.

Each servant was entrusted with something valuable. The difference wasn’t in what they received, but in what they chose to do with it.

Here are the questions to ask: Am I using what I’ve been given to grow, serve, and make a difference? Or am I holding back?

Growth requires faith. Action requires courage. And even small steps matter.

On this Holy Monday, we see a different side of Jesus - bold, passionate and unwilling to let what is sacred be treated casually. He didn't ignore what was wrong - He confronted it.

The temple had become noisy, distracted, and self-serving. So, He cleared it.

He didn't do this condemn, but to restore.

This week, let Him do the same in us.

Distractions? Clear the clutter.
Busyness? Refocus our hearts.
Misplaced priorities? Make room for what matters most.

What needs to be overturned in your life this week?

Hosanna! 🌿

Today we remember Jesus entering Jerusalem as King—but not the kind of king people expected. He came in humility, on His way to the cross.

This week is all about the gospel: Jesus came to save.

Join us as we walk through Holy Week together and prepare our hearts for what’s to come.

“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
