The Salvation Army has a history of being there for the ones that have selflessly served their country.

In 1917, during World War 1, four women from the Salvation Army were sent to the front lines to provide spiritual care. They came up with a wonderful idea; What if they made donuts to boost morale and remind the men of home? The actions of these brave women, mere miles from the front lines, started a phenomenon and gave what we still seek to give today: hope.

We are continuing that tradition today. Aux. Cpt. Amy & Jesse Cross are at the state fair today, serving coffee and donuts to those who have braved battlefields far and near to home.

Our Fellowship Hall is now OPEN for a COOLING SHELTER!

Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6:30 pm, when temperatures are above 90, we are allowing the public to seek shelter from the heat in our Fellowship Hall. Cold water will be available in Cambros, as well.
