Hey parents and students!! Do you know any current 6th graders? We just wanted to let you know that they are invited to join the Youth group on the 1st Wednesday Night of Every Month, until it's time for them to graduate into the Student Ministry. We don't do anything different on these nights other than just hosting the 6th graders., But we hope you consider allowing them to join us, as we hope that it will make the transition from Kids Ministry to Student Ministry a little easier for both the Student's and the Parents!! A typical Wednesday Night goes something like this. Students arrive 5:45ish to 6:00PM. They go by the Welcome Station and get checked in. We eat at about 6:15PM. We start the Worship service at 6:30PM.... Where we have announcements, a fun game, Worship, then a Lesson. We hope this makes things easier for you and your students. Bring your family, invite a friend, and come expectant. We believe God is still changing lives, and we’re praying He’ll do just that throughout this month.

We officially lost track of the days at camp… it’s been hot, wet, exhausting, and absolutely worth it! Then they told us today was the last day, so I guess it’s time to head home. 😂. We’re thankful to say we made it back safely to Golden!

Judging by the conversations on the ride home, I think some of our students missed eating at the Mexican restaurant more than they missed having their phones! 🌮📵. So parents, I’m sorry but they might want to go out to eat! 😂

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for our students this week. Please continue to pray that the seeds planted at camp will continue to grow, that the Holy Spirit will keep working in their hearts, and that what God started this week will carry over into their everyday lives. We can’t wait to see how He continues to work!

Students: Remember our theme this week “He Dwelt Among Us.” The same Jesus who met with us around the lake, in the chapel, and during worship is the same Jesus who goes home with you. Just because we’re no longer surrounded by the beauty of camp doesn’t mean God is any less present. He is with you every single day. Don’t let camp be the highlight of your walk with Christ! Let it be the LAUNCHING point. Keep opening God’s Word. Keep spending time in His presence. Keep praying. Keep worshiping. Fall more in love with Jesus and His Word every day, and let what He did this week shape the way you live from here on out. Me and Kayla love y’all, we miss yall already, thank you for giving up a week of your time to have a week full of Jesus!

Day: We honestly have no idea anymore… 😅

The days are running together, the sleep is running out, and God is moving in a big way! Here are a few random snapshots from camp life….. worship, games, team competitions, and free time! We are so thankful for each and every student that has come to camp this year! Keep Praying that our group will grow closer together and most importantly grow with Christ!

What an incredible first day!

Please continue praying for our students and leaders this week, as well as the camp Pastor, and worship team! Pray that distractions would fade, hearts would be open to God’s Word, and lives would be changed for His glory!

Hey Tishomingo County Student Ministries!

Make plans now to join us at Golden Central Baptist Church next week!

Food will be served in the FLC at 6:00 PM, and Worship will begin in the Sanctuary at 6:30 PM.

We’re encouraging every student to invite at least one person—because you never know how one invitation could change someone’s life.

It’s going to be a great night of fellowship and worship, so come hungry—not just for food, but for what God has in store.

Bryer Mayo, a former Golden Central student and current student at Northeast Mississippi Community College, will be bringing the Word.

We’d love to see you there!

Tomorrow, immediately following the worship service, we’ll be having a spaghetti plate fundraiser to help send our students to youth camp!

Each plate is $10 and includes spaghetti, bread, and a dessert.
