Some people will spend today chasing things that will not matter next week. Others will invest in something that will matter for eternity.

The Lord has given us another day, another opportunity, and another invitation to draw closer to Him.

“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33)

Make worship a priority. Open His Word. Lift your voice in praise. Encourage someone else. The best part of your Sunday is not what you receive from the world, but what you give to God.

There is no better place to be than in His presence.

One of the greatest tragedies in life is not that people fail.

It is that some people quit trying.

Peter sank, but he got back in the boat.
David fell, but he repented.
John Mark quit, but later became useful in the kingdom.

The devil wants you to believe that your mistakes define you. God says your response to those mistakes matters far more.

Don't let yesterday keep you from serving God today.

"Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise." Micah 7:8 (KJV)

Some doors only open once.

Opportunities pass.
Conversations end.
Time moves forward.

That is why the Bible repeatedly urges us to seek the Lord while He may be found and to respond while the invitation is still being extended.

Today is a gift from God. Use it wisely. Encourage someone. Forgive someone. Obey God. Draw closer to Christ.

Tomorrow is promised to no one, but today is in your hands.

“Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Proverbs 27:1 (KJV)

Some people are waiting for life to slow down before they focus on what matters most.

But the truth is, life rarely slows down.

There will always be another appointment, another responsibility, another distraction competing for your attention.

Don't let the urgent crowd out the eternal.

Take time today to pray. Open your Bible. Encourage someone. Draw closer to God.

The days pass quickly, but what is done for the Lord will never be wasted.

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” — Ephesians 5:16

Some people spend their lives trying to get ahead.

The Bible spends its pages teaching us how to get right.

You can have a full schedule, a full bank account, and a full calendar—and still have an empty soul.

Jesus asked a question that still echoes through the centuries:

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36)

The most important thing you will ever possess is not something you can hold in your hand—it is your relationship with God.

Take care of your soul. It will outlive everything else.

What if the greatest danger to your faith is not persecution... but distraction?

The devil does not always try to make people bad. Sometimes he simply keeps them busy.

Busy with work.
Busy with hobbies.
Busy with worries.
Busy with everything except what matters most.

A crowded schedule can slowly create an empty soul.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10, KJV)

If you could go back and change one thing, what would it be?

Most people can answer that question immediately.

A harsh word.
A bad decision.
A missed opportunity.
A sinful choice.

The past teaches valuable lessons, but it offers no do-overs.

The good news is that while you cannot rewrite yesterday, you can choose how you will live today.

“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.” (Philippians 3:13 KJV)

Learn from the past. Live for God today. Look forward with hope.

The amazing thing about God's invitation is not that some are welcomed.

It is that there is still room.

Room for the weary.
Room for the broken.
Room for the prodigal.
Room for the doubter.
Room for the sinner who is ready to come home.

Jesus said, “Yet there is room.” Luke 14:22 (KJV)

As long as the invitation is being offered, no one can say it is too late. The door of opportunity is still open, the gospel is still being preached, and God's grace is still available.

There is still room.

One of the most dangerous words in the English language is:

“Tomorrow.”

Tomorrow I'll obey God.
Tomorrow I'll make things right.
Tomorrow I'll start reading my Bible.
Tomorrow I'll reach out to that person.
Tomorrow I'll change.

But tomorrow is never promised.

The devil doesn't always need a person to say "no" to God. Sometimes he only needs them to say "later."

What needs to be done today?

“Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Proverbs 27:1 KJV
