🍀 Emerald Crossing VBS – Days 3 & 4 Recap 🍀

What an amazing journey through Psalm 23 this week!

On Day 3: Fearful to Peaceful, we learned from David’s life that even when we face difficult circumstances, we can trust God to be with us every step of the way. God’s presence brings comfort, courage, and peace when we are afraid.

📖 Psalm 23:4
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

On Day 4: Grumbling to Grateful, we discovered that every good thing comes from God. Like David, we can choose gratitude instead of complaints and recognize the many blessings God pours into our lives each day.

📖 Psalm 23:5
“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”

☘️Emerald Crossing VBS Day 2:
Wrong Path to Right Path☘️

Today we learned that God is our Shepherd and He lovingly guides us on the right path. Just as David trusted God to lead him, we can trust God to direct our lives through His Word and help us make wise choices. When we feel lost, confused, or discouraged, God restores our souls and shows us the way to go.

Psalm 23:2-3
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Day 1 of VBS was awesome! Today's lesson was about "Lost to Found". We learned that God is our Shepherd who loves us, guides us, and takes care of us. Just as David trusted God while watching over his sheep, we can trust God to watch over us every day.

Our verse tonight was Psalm 23:1"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."

The kids learned that no matter where we are or what we're going through, God knows us, loves us, and wants us to be a part of His family. It was a great reminder that when we feel lost, God is always there to lead us and bring us back to Him. 💚☘️🐑
