Such a blessing to have time with friends in the missions department at Harvest Church! So thankful for their multifaceted support and partnership. Excited about what’s on the horizon this year! Something special happened last week. ☕❤️ We gathered for a ladies-only tea featuring Ethiopia’s famous tea, meaningful conversation, prayer, and stories of the life-changing work happening with young women in Ethiopia. Women supporting women. Sisters standing with sisters. This was our first cozy, in-home gathering, and it reminded us how powerful simple hospitality can be. A few friends, a cup of tea, and a chance to make a real difference.

Something special happened last week. ☕❤️

We gathered for a ladies-only tea featuring Ethiopia’s famous tea, meaningful conversation, prayer, and stories of the life-changing work happening with young women in Ethiopia.
Women supporting women. Sisters standing with sisters. This was our first cozy, in-home gathering, and it reminded us how powerful simple hospitality can be. A few friends, a cup of tea, and a chance to make a real difference.

I took this photo a few months ago, while visiting our partner Make Your Mark Global’s Women’s Kalkidan center. This mom… LOVING her sweet baby. ❤️ She had just returned from a long day at trade school. Last year, they were both living on the streets. This Mother’s Day we celebrate these mommas doing the hard things and changing their family tree. And we thank all the women and men supporting The Forsaken Children- all of us doing what we can IS making a huge difference!
