Thank you to all that joined us today in Worship. It was so good to hear all the heartfelt words about the “good ole days” and special memories of growing up at Mt Gilead. When asked to stand if the Ministries of this Church, old and new, affected your life, all stood in a testament of the good work of our Father God at this Little White Church in the valley. God bless you all, in Christ Love, Mt Gilead ❤️🙏🏼

SPECIAL NOTICE -IMPORTANT

Dear Friends of Mt Gilead,

We come to you with gratitude and grace to all.
We come to you with our saddened and grieving hearts.

We have reached a time in the life of Mount Gilead United Methodist Church/ Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church
that our current Congregation has decided after many prayers, unsuccessful processes and great soulful deliberation, to close Mt Gilead UMC.

There will be a called Church conference on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, at 6 PM EST, with Shannon Boaz, District Superintendent , presiding.

Members of the Church will be voting to begin the closure process. Please feel free to attend if you are a current member of Mount Gilead UMC.

Peace be with you all and thank you for all your service, prayers and love throughout the many ministries of Mt Gilead, the little Church in the Valley.

Please join us this Easter Sunday for our Living Cross Service at 10:30 am. A service of song and fellowship where the “Old Rugged Cross” is brought to Life, just as our Savior Jesus Christ was crucified, but on that third day arose from the dead. We serve a risen Savior. He LIVES!
Following our Service we will have a continental Breakfast in our Fellowship Hall.

Special music begins at 11:00 am with our regular worship services at 11:30 am. Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy great fellowship with us for dinner at 12:30 pm.
