“TASTE & SEE” (FIRSTHAND FAITH)!
(Psalm 34:8-10)

David wrote Psalm 34 in the cave of Adullam after escaping King Saul and the Philistines by pretending to be insane.

Psalm 34:8–10 invites people to experience God’s faithfulness and goodness for themselves.

Knowing God is not just an idea. It is a real, personal experience you can test and verify “FIRSTHAND FAITH” (TRUST)!

(Matthew 23:25-28)

In Matthew 23:25-28, Jesus uses the metaphors of a dirty cup and a whitewashed tomb to rebuke the scribes & Pharisees for hypocrisy.

Jesus uses this imagery to show that while the religious leaders looked spiritually bright and holy on the outside, their hearts were full of death and decay.

Jesus teaches true cleansing means, being “CLEANED INSIDE / OUT”!

“GOD’S MERCIFUL HEART”! (Psalm 86:11-17)

“But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth” (v. 15).

This passage highlights “GOD’S MERCIFUL HEART” as the foundation for prayer and trust. David desperately cried out for help and so must we…!
