Leesburg Christian Church

Leesburg Christian Church We believe in creating a space where all people can have authentic encounters with Christ. Who are we? We have met in our current location since 1828.

Leesburg Christian Church is a non-denominational body of believers. We have a rich history as a church planted from the "Restoration Movement" and with God's grace we believe there is a bright future ahead of us. As a church our mission is to Meet, Serve, and Share Jesus. We are a Christ centered, Bible teaching, people serving body of believers. Beliefs

Jesus is the one and only Son of God who

died for our sins and rose from the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:1-8

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and our authority for all that we do. 1 Timothy 3:16

Every person has value as a creation of God, but all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Romans 3:23

Forgiveness of sin and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Jesus as lord and Savior. John 3:16

Those who accept Christ should repent of their sin, confess their belief in Jesus, and be baptized into Christ. Romans 10:9, Acts 2:38

The church is the body of Christ and exists to seek the lost and equip those who have accepted Christ. Ephesians 4:1-16

Jesus Christ will return to earth and bring together all who have been made new through Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Worship doesn’t begin when the service starts... It begins in the quiet moments when we pause and intentionally turn our hearts toward the Lord.

As we look ahead to gathering, let’s come ready to listen, surrender, and celebrate His goodness.

Join us this Thursday at 6:30pm or Sunday at 8:30, 10:00, or 11:30am!

What would happen if the church became a place:
Where struggles could be shared openly.
Where confession led to healing.
Where broken people were met with grace instead of judgment.

That’s the kind of church Jesus envisioned. Not a gathering of people who have it all together, but a community of people honest about their need for Him.

The beauty of biblical community is that we don’t have to pretend. We can be honest. We can confess. We can find support. And through God’s grace, we can be transformed.

It is easy to believe that being a “good person” is enough. That if we try hard, do the right things, and live morally, we will be okay.

But the Bible tells us something different: our goodness can’t save us. No amount of good works, church attendance, or effort can do what only Jesus can.

Salvation isn’t found in what we do, it is only found in what Christ has already done.

John 14: 6 states, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

It's Baby Bottle Blessing time!

From now until Father’s Day, pick up a baby bottle from the foyer, fill it with coins, cash, or checks, and return it to Leesburg to help support the Not Alone Pregnancy Center.

Your generosity helps provide compassion, care, and Christ-centered support to women and families navigating unplanned pregnancies.

Every bottle and every gift makes a difference!

Our hearts are full after such a beautiful Sunday together!

From celebrating mothers, to rejoicing as 12 families dedicated themselves to raising their children to love and obey God, to witnessing 3 baptisms; we saw God's goodness on display in so many ways.

Through worship and teaching we were challenged to lay down our fears and surrender them to the Lord, trusting that He is faithful in every season.

What a gift it is to gather, worship, and witness all that God is doing!

It is easy to place people into categories and decide who seems open to God and who doesn’t. But what if God is asking you to look beyond your assumptions?

What if the person you have avoided is the very person God is preparing?

You never know how God may be moving in someone’s heart before you ever speak a word. Our role isn’t to decide who is worthy of hearing the gospel, rather it is simply to be obedient when God says, “Go.”

Who might God be asking you to reach?

No one is beyond the reach of God.
