Raise your hand if you’ve ever received or given away one of our Prayer Shawls! The Kay Merritt Prayer Shawl Ministry is still making shawls, even though their meeting space and shawl cabinet has moved amid the construction. If you or someone you know could benefit from the comfort of a prayer shawl, email [email protected] or any FUMC Staff member. We’ll be happy to help you select a shawl that has been created and prayed over by this beautiful ministry.

This morning our M&Ms Senior Adults enjoyed a special pie-tasting from BiG (Brookwood in Georgetown). They sampled pies and learned more about the growth and goals of BiG in Central Texas and beyond.
Our M&Ms are a lively group of active seniors that gather each Wednesday in the MCMC for coffee, in addition to local day trips and special gatherings like their upcoming potluck luncheon November 4. Sign up on the Upcoming Events page of our website if you'd like to attend.
