Our Presbyterian Women leaders spent yesterday at Austin Seminary getting ready for a new year of PW! They joined other leaders for training on this year’s Horizons Bible Study, United Through Christ, Bound to Each Other: Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians.

Today was a special Sunday as we celebrated our annual Backpack Blessing in worship! 🎒

As a new school year begins, we gathered around our students to offer a special blessing for the year ahead. Each student also received a blessing tag for their backpack as a reminder that God goes with them wherever they go.

The students also helped us bless and recognize the teachers, administrators, school staff, and educators in our church family, giving thanks for the many ways they teach, encourage, and care for children and youth in our church and in our community.

We are grateful for all of our students, educators, and families and wish them a wonderful school year ahead!
