Lake Louise is a year-round camp and retreat center in Northern Michigan.

Nestled in the woods on a tranquil, spring-fed lake, Lake Louise offers summer, overnight Christian camps, year-round retreats, and facility rental for individuals and groups. Our goal is to nurture faith and equip Christian children, youth, families, adults, and community leaders to live and work from a place of wholeness, and in so doing, they shall be bearers of promise and hope as they transform the world.

Our Sensory Cabin was a HUGE hit this summer! ✅

What began as a vision in 2019 has officially become a special part of the Lake Louise experience, thanks to the incredible support of our Lake Louise community. This summer, Pastor Erin and Executive Director Neil led a beautiful commissioning service for this sweet little space. 🙏

We’re so grateful to have a place where campers can feel safe, take a break, and regulate their emotions to participate in the camping experience. We can’t wait to continue growing this space and supporting campers for many summers to come! 🌿✨

🐻 Black Bear and Teddy Bear Camp 2026! 🧸

Welcoming our Black Bear and Teddy Bear families to Lake Louise is one of the sweetest ways to wrap up our summer camping season! These “baby bears” are our youngest campers, and for some, this is their very first camp experience. What makes it even more special is getting to experience it alongside a parent or loved one. 💛 A huge thank you to Dean Rachel, Dean Jodi, and Dean Erin for creating such a welcoming and wonderful introduction to camping at Lake Louise. ✝

There was $5,315 in scholarships awarded to 63 Teddy Bear campers and there was $2,967 in scholarships awarded to 41 Black Bear campers! This year, The United Methodist Foundation of Michigan, provided a grant to support UMC Clergy members in a week of retreat at Lake Louise. Thank you for supporting clergy families, as they participate in Clergy Family Camp, and are given the opportunity to connect, learn, and grow in faith! ✨✝

For generations, Lake Louise has been honored to host this special camp and witness the lifelong friendships and memories made here. Thank you to all the campers, counselors, and volunteers that helped create an environment that fostered faith, creativity, and community.

Polar Bear Camp was AMAZING! 🐻‍❄️💙 These campers grew closer to one another as they discovered more about Jesus and His love. Their energy was contagious, the adventures never seemed to end, and every day brought something new! We loved watching these campers build lasting memories and strengthen their relationships with each other—and with Christ. ✝☀

When smoke rolled in on Wednesday, our plans changed—but our campers didn't miss a beat. They embraced every twist and turn with positive attitudes, adventurous spirits, and plenty of fun! Sometimes the best camp memories come from the moments you never planned. We are so thankful for these amazing campers and leaders who made the most out of every opportunity! 🤩
