Sermon Title: Engaging the city
Sermon Series: Turning the World Upside Down

Thanks for joining us online at Cornerstone.
What do you do when the world around you looks nothing like it used to? When the people in your community aren't walking through church doors and don't know the first thing about the Bible? The Apostle Paul faced that exact situation when he arrived in Athens, the intellectual capital of the ancient world, and his response will challenge everything you think you know about sharing your faith. This Sunday at Cornerstone we're continuing our series Turning the World Upside Down with a message called Engaging the City, and we're taking a close look at Acts 17 and one of the most powerful pictures in all of Scripture of what it looks like to meet people where they are and point them toward the God they've been searching for all along. Join us Sunday at Cornerstone Community Church in Galax. We would love to see you there.

Watch or listen online at live.mycornerstone.org or join us in person in downtown Galax at 9:15 or 11am.

This morning's service:

Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery
He Will Be
Scripture Reading - Psalm 121 NIV

Acts 17:18-21 NLT

Sermon Title: Hungry For The Word
Sermon Series: Turning the World Upside Down

Thanks for joining us online at Cornerstone.
Everybody has an opinion about God. But how do you know what's actually true?2,000 years ago, a group of people in a small Greek city called Berea decided they weren't going to take anyone's word for it, not even the Apostle Paul's. They opened their Bibles and searched the Scriptures every single day until they found the answer for themselves.

The Bible calls them noble. And their example has something important to say to every one of us. This Sunday we're in Acts 17 for the next message in our series 'Turning the World Upside Down' and we're asking the question the Bereans asked: What does the Bible actually say?

Watch or listen online at live.mycornerstone.org or join us in person in downtown Galax at 9:15 or 11am.

Sermon Title: Faith That Shakes The City
Sermon Series: Turning the World Upside Down

Thanks for joining us online at Cornerstone.
What if the greatest accusation ever made against the early church was actually a compliment? This Sunday we're continuing our series "Turning the World Upside Down" and we're landing in one of the most important cities in the ancient world. Thessalonica. A city so loyal to Caesar that when Paul showed up and declared Jesus as King, the whole city erupted.

The charge against him? "These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also." They meant it as an insult. The church has always worn it as a badge. This week we're asking what it looks like to live boldly enough that someone might say the same thing about us.

Watch or listen online at live.mycornerstone.org or join us in person in downtown Galax at 9:15 or 11am.

This morning's service:
